We are giving away five admit two in-season passes to The Russian Resurrection Film Festival at Event Cinemas Myer Centre from 7 to 14 November. To enter, email online@queenslandmagazines.com.au with the subject line ‘RUSSIAN’, and include your name, address and mobile in the body of the email. The festival will open with The Coach, directed by and featuring super hunk Danila Kozlovsky, one of the biggest names in Russian cinema at the moment. The Coach captures the emotion and spirit of the Russian football world, following Yuri, the country’s star striker, and his fall from grace. Other featured films include In The Hood, another Kozlovsky film, Night Shift, the Russian Full Monty equivalent that also pokes fun at Russia’s political system and culture, and Lady With A Little Dog, a classic that transports audiences back to their first love.The festival closes with the powerful moving trilogy Witnesses which tells the story of the Holocaust from the perspective of three uncanny witnesses Winners will be notified via email, and tickets will be sent by post. This competitions ends at midday Friday 2 November. |
