Rockman (Australia) Win a Car Promotion Terms & Conditions (“Conditions of Entry”)
1.The Promoter Rockman (Australia) Pty Ltd (ABN 18051 308 475), of 375 Victoria Street, Wetherill Park, NSW 2164 Australia (the “Promoter”).
2.Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these conditions. Entries must comply with these conditions to be valid.
3.Entry is open to all residents of New South Wales, Australian Capital Territory, Victoria, Tasmania, Queensland of Australia who are 18 years and over. Employees of the Promoter, retailers, suppliers, associated entities and agencies associated with this competition are ineligible to enter.
4.The competition commences at 00:01am on Wednesday, 1 May 2019 (AEST) and closes at 11:59pm on Monday, 22 July 2019 (AEST) (“Promotional Period”).
5.For the purpose of this competition, “Participating Brand” means Sau Tao, Garden, Royal Family, Chi Mei, Fu Chi, Prima Taste, Gold Kili, Paldo, Laoluozi, SMH, Tseng Noodles, XiangPiaoPiao.
6.To enter, entrants must:
– Spend $8.00 or more in one (1) transaction from any Australian retailers which sells the aforementioned brand’s products during the Promotional Period;
–    Complete the online entry form with your details (including title, full name, full address, email address, mobile, name of store purchased from, purchase item(s) and value, date of purchase);
•Upload a photo of the purchase receipt and purchase item(s) for the Qualifying Purchase clearly displaying the date of purchase and purchase item(s);
•Purchase the required product(s) to be purchased for entry and must spend $8.00 or more in one (1) receipt;
•That the purchase was made during the Promotional Period and prior to entry;

–     Entrants must keep their purchase receipt for each entry as proof of purchase.
7.Multiple entries are permitted during the Promotional Period. More chances to win if multiple of $8.00 receipts were entered into the competition. One (1) receipt count as single entry, regardless of the receipt value and number of items purchased.
8.Entries must be received by the Promoter during the Promotional Period. Entries received after 11:59pm on Monday, 22 July 2019 (AEST) will not be accepted. Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the Promoter’s database and NOT at the time of transmission by the entrant.
9.Purchase receipts must be retained during the Promotional Period. The Promoter will request the winners to present their purchase receipts before any prize is awarded.
10.Any entry that is lodged by automatic, repetitive, robotic, programmed or similar entry methods or agents, including the use of a competition entry service, will be void.
11.This competition is a game of chance. All non-winning entries will be rolled over into the following week’s prize draw.
12.There are eleven (11) minor prize draws on a weekly basis and awarded during the Promotional Period.
13.Each prize draw will take place at 2pm (AEST) on the prize draw dates described below in clause 14 at 375 Victoria Street, Wetherill Park, NSW 2164 by Rockman (Australia) Pty Ltd (ABN 18051 308 475).

15.The total RRP value of all prizes is $30,032 (inclusive of GST). Prize values are based on current RRP at the time of printing/publishing these terms and conditions. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for changes in the prize values between the time of printing/publishing these terms and conditions and the ultimate prize redemption.
16.All taxes (excluding GST) which may be payable as a consequence of receiving a prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. The winner may wish to seek independent financial advice as to any tax implications arising as a result of accepting the prize.
17.Any ancillary costs, including but not limited to insurance of the prize, collection and any and all other expenses are the responsibility of the winner.
18.Major and minor prize winners will be notified via telephone and email within 2 working days of each draw occurring. Major prize winners’ names will also be published on the Rockman website (http://www.rockman.com.au/) 3 days after each draw (being 10 May 2019, 17 May 2019, 24 May 2019, 31 May 2019, 7 June 2019, 14 June 2019, 21 June 2019, 28 June 2019, 5 July 2019, 12 July 2019, 19 July 2019, 26 July 2019 respectively).
19.It is the responsibility of the major car prize winner to organise own transportation when collecting the car prize in person. Winner’s identity check will be conducted upon the collection of the car prize.
20.Major cash prizes will be issuing cheque titled to the winner. No cash cheque will be issue or made out to any third party other than the winner’s name.
21.Prizes are not variable, exchangeable, reissue or transferable. Prizes are not redeemable for cash. The judges’ decision is final and binding – no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries or other communications. Entries will be deemed void if illegitimate, forged, manipulated or tampered with in any way.
22.In the event that any prize (or any part of a prize) becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter may substitute a prize (or the relevant part of the prize) with a prize of equal or greater value.
23.If by 11:59am on 8 August 2019 any major or minor prize winner has failed to contact the Promoter, the Promoter will hold a second chance prize draw at 12pm on 16 August 2019 at the same location as the first prize draws. Second chance prize draw winners will be notified via telephone and email within 2 days of the second chance prize draw occurring. Any major prize winners from the second chance draw will also have their name published on the Rockman website (http://www.rockman.com.au/) 1 week after the second chance prize draw. All prizes must be claimed by 31 October 2019 at 1pm (AEDT).
24.Each prize will be awarded to the person named in the respective winning entry and any entry that is made on behalf of an entrant or by a third party will be invalid. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant or winner, The Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant or winner.
25.The Promoter reserves the right to request verification of age, identity, residential address of winners and any other information relevant to entry into or participation in this competition. Verification is at the discretion of the Promoter, whose decision is final. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions, or who is involved in any way in interfering or tampering with the conduct of this competition. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
26.The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered (even if caused by negligence) as a result of accepting and/or using a prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
27.The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any failure to receive an entry or for inaccurate information or for any loss, damage or injury as a result of technical or telecommunications problems, including security breaches. If such problems arise, then the Promoter may modify cancel, terminate or suspend the competition.
28.Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice and their entry in the event that they are a winner in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome) and/or promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
29.Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude, or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion.
30.Entrants’ personal information will be collected by the Promoter. Personal information will be stored on the Promoter’s database. The Promoter may use this information for future marketing purposes regarding its products, including contacting the entrant electronically. The Promoter is bound by the Australian Privacy Principles in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and its privacy policy which is located at http://www.rockman.com.au/privacy/. The Promoter’s privacy policy contains information about how the entrant may access, update and seek correction of the personal information the Promoter holds about them and how the entrant may complain about any potential breach by the Promoter of the Australian Privacy Principles or any other Australian privacy laws and how such complaints will be dealt with. The Promoter collects personal information about entrants to enable them to participate in this Promotion and may disclose the entrants’ personal information to third parties including its contractors and agents, prize suppliers and service providers to assist in conducting this Promotion and to the State and Territory lottery departments as required under the relevant lottery legislation. If the entrant does not provide their personal information as requested, they may be ineligible to enter or claim a prize in the Promotion. Personal information collected from entrants will not be disclosed to any entity located outside of Australia.
