The Sunshine Coast's fastest baby will win $1000 to spend at Kawana Shoppingworld plus an Event Cinemas Kawana Gold Class date night for their parents.

The race will take place at Kawna Shoppingworld on Saturday 27th July at 12noon.

By entering into the competition “Dave, Sam & Ash’s Baby Race”, you (the Entrant) acknowledge, accept and agree to the following terms and conditions, as amended from time to time and displayed on the Promoter’s webpage.1.Competition “Dave, Sam & Ash’s Baby Race” 2.Promoter Participating Station: Hot 91.1 Sunshine CoastRegistered business name ofQueensland Regional Broadcasters 39 122 696 753 17 Carnaby St, Maroochydore, QLD 4558 3.When to enter Start:Wednesday 17 July 2019Finish:Friday 26 July 2019(Promotional Period)4.Who can enterEntrants must beresidents of the Sunshine Coast area. Entrants must beable to attend Dave, Sam & Ash’s Baby Raceheld at Kawana Shoppingworld on Saturday 27July2019 at 12noon (a11.30am arrival for registration) and, unless otherwise specified, must make their own way to and from this event. Entrants must be the parent or legal guardian of the baby contestant, who must be 12 months old or less and not yet walking unattended. Baby must crawl under on hands and knees (scooting on hands and feet may be disqualified at judge's discretion).Parent or legal guardiansmust be 18 years or olderto accept prizing. Entrants must not be the employees or the immediate family members (spouse; de facto spouse; or natural, adopted or step, parent, child, or sibling) of the employees of the Promoter(Hot 91), the Prize provider(s)(Kawana Shoppingworld Event Cinemas Kawana), of any of the suppliers or agencies associated with this competition(Media Squared), or of any of the related bodies corporate (as that term is defined in s50 of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth)) of the Promoter, the Prize provider(s), or of those suppliers or agencies. (Eligible Entrants)5.How to enterRegisteryour and your baby’s details at the promotion webpage at hot91.com.au, including submitting a photo of the participating baby.(Eligible Entries)6.Number of entriesEntrants may enter as many times as they like. Once an entrant has been determined as a Finalist, they must not continue to attempt to enter.7.Prize descriptionThe fastest baby race determined as the winner of the racewill receive a $1,000 gift card toKawana Shoppingworld plus a double pass toEvent Cinemas Kawana Gold Class. Prizes to be accepted by the baby’s parents. Prize contents or description may change at the discretion of Grant Broadcasters (Hot 91).(the Prize)
8.Prize valuationUp to AUD $1,100.9.Prize restrictionsIf the winner does not meet all the Prize restrictions in this section 10 they may not be able to participate in the Prize and their portion of the Prize may be forfeited.General●No part of the prize can be redeemed or exchanged for money or any other prize.10.Prize Draw  Up to five (5) babies will be selected as Finalists to compete in Dave, Sam & Ash’s Baby Race. Finalists will be chosen from entries made online at hot91.com.au and their parents phoned back on and off air by Hot 91 to confirm details. Finalists and their parents must arrive at Kawana Shoppingworld at 11.30am for registration on Saturday 27 July 2019 for Dave, Sam & Ash’s Baby Race. Finalists may attend with one or two parents/guardians. One parent per baby will be stationed at the end of the lane to encourage the baby to crawl towards them. The second parent/guardian if they attend will be stationed at the beginning of that same lane to help the baby begin the race. All must be ready to race at 12noon.When instructed by Hot 91at 12noon, parents must place their babies in their lane and encourage their babies to crawl to the other end. Finalists are permitted to bring one (1) item to entice their baby to crawl towards them.The first baby with their whole body over the line (as determined by the Promoter at its discretion)will be determined the race winner.11.Notification of winnerFinalists will be chosen from entries made online at hot91.com.au and their parents phoned back on and off air by Hot 91 to confirm details. Finalists/parents/guardianswill be notified immediately if they win the race and will be notified immediately of their prize. 12.Forfeit and RedrawFinalists/parents/guardians must not begin the race until instructed by Hot 91, or else they forfeit. The first baby with their whole body over the line (as determined by the Promoter at its discretion)will be determined as the winner. In all matters, all decisions of Hot 91’s staff will be final and cannot be contested. No correspondence or discussions will be entertained.  13.Issuing the PrizeIf all requirements are met, winners will their prize within 5 working days.14.Publicity By participating in this promotion, contestants agree to their image and voice to be used on Hot 91(on air), online at hot91.com.au and/or on the social media media accountsof Hot 91 and all parties associated with Dave, Sam & Ash’s Baby Race.15.PrivacyBy entering this Competition all Entrants accept the Promoters’ Privacy Policy as amended from time to time and available on the participating radio station websites. All Entrants’ details are automatically entered on the Promoter’s promotions database. The Promoter also maintains a record of the winner’s details.By entering into this Competition, each Entrant consents to his or her personal information (as that term is defined in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth)) being used for:
●the purpose of distribution of the Prize by the Promoter, the Prize provider(s) and third parties;●publicity purposes by the Promoter for the purpose of the Competition, including broadcast on radio and publication online and on social media of the Entrant’s first and last name, the Entrant’s suburb and state of residence, and the Entrant’s likeness, voice and character if that Entrant is the winner;●direct marketing by the Prize provider(s) for goods and services (Entrants can elect to opt out at any time by selecting ‘unsubscribe’ when they receive direct marketing material); and●direct marketing by the Promoter for future competitions and other goods and services (Entrants can elect to opt out at any time by selecting ‘unsubscribe’ when they receive direct marketing material).16.General Terms and Conditionsa)The Promoter and its representatives may conduct security and identification verification checks in their absolute discretion to confirm whether an Entrant is eligible to enter the Competition and whether any winner drawn iseligible to win the Prize.b)The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify entries if those entries do not comply with these Terms and Conditions.c)The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify entries where the Entrant has tampered with the entry process ortampered with the operation of the Competition or any website of the Promoter or engaged in any improper conduct calculated to affect the fairness of the Competition. The Promoter further reserves its rights to recover costs from any Entrant who engages in this conduct.d)All decisions by the Promoter are final and at the discretion of the Promoter.
