Tidy by IKEA: 2-hour Home Organisation Consultation with tidy solution products


Terms & Conditions:

The competition will open 06:00AM (AEDT) Wednesday 5 February 2020 and closes 11:59PM (AEDT) Wednesday 12 February 2020.
The entrant understands that the ‘2-hour Home Organisation Consultation’ will be undertaken via an external third party that is separate from The Promoter.
Entrants must be aged 18 and over.
There will be 100 prize winners across Australia.
Entrants must live within a 20km radius from an IKEA store in Australia.
To submit a valid entry, entrants must share a photo of their nominated untidy area (pantry, bathroom, bedroom or children's bedroom) and 'answer in 50 words or less, what frustrates you about this space?'
This is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner (s). The winning entries will be chosen at the sole discretion of IKEA based on the creativity/quality of the submission, and correct entry process (as above). The winner(s) will also need to meet the selection criteria.
IKEA will shortlist potential winners and complete a screening call via phone. The screening period will run Thursday 13 February – Friday 14 February 2020.
Selected finalists will need to be available and present for 2 hours during home organisation consultations taking place between Saturday 29 February – Sunday 15 March 2020. The tidy professional will need to photograph your space before and after it is tidied.
The winner (s) will be notified by phone between Monday 17 February and Friday 21 February 2020.
After three failed attempts to make phone contact by Wednesday 19 February 2020, winner(s) will be deemed to have failed to accept the prize
If the winner fails to accept the prize or is unable to meet the conditions of entry, another winner will be selected at the discretion of the IKEA team.
The winner (s) must be available to take part in the prize/experience between Saturday 29 February - Sunday 15 March 2020. If the winner is unable to attend on those dates, another winner will be selected at the discretion of the IKEA team.
The prize winner (s) 100 in total will receive:
a) An IKEA Tidy pack, valued up to $300rrp; filled with home organisation products related to the area of the home specified in the entry form
b) A 2 hour in-home visit from a third party tidy professional who will tidy the area of your home specified in the entry form.
Your experience will be photographed and/or filmed to be used on IKEA digital channels and may be used for marketing purposes, including public relations. This includes before and after images of your space.
You agree to have before and after photos of your untidy area shared across IKEA owned channels, including but not limited to IKEA Australia’s Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and website.
Prize is not transferable/exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
Employees of the promoter, and its agencies associated with the competition, are ineligible to enter.
All winners will be required to sign a legal release in a form as determined by IKEA PTY LTD.
By entering the competition, the entrant agrees that IKEA Pty Ltd can use their name, photographs, video footage and story for publicity and promotional purposes, without compensation, and that IKEA Pty Ltd will own copyright in any such content and in all material incorporating the photographs.
IKEA Pty Ltd reserves the right to verify the validity of claims and to disqualify any claimant who tampers with the claim process or who submits a claim that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions. All claims will be subject to the IKEA Pty Ltd validation and verification checks
IKEA Pty Ltd reserves the right to withdraw or amend the competition as necessary due to circumstances outside its control
The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the decision.

The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the promotion at any time during the offer period.
All claims will be subject to the Promoter’s validation and verification checks. Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained, as a result of participating in this offer, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
