yourtown and 4KQ want to do just that, and help a Brisbane charity or community group continue to deliver their services to the community.

It could be new equipment for the playground, or to fund new technology to keep you virtually connected to your community in this time. yourtown and 4KQ want to come to the rescue with $5000!

The Promoter reserves the right to:
(i) amend the contesting period at its absolute discretion
including to close the competition within the Competition
Period;
(ii) terminate the competition subject to any direction from a
regulatory authority.
    
 
Entry Restrictions
a) Entrants must be 18 years of age or over at the time of entry.
b) Entrants acknowledge and consent to the material / information submitted as part of their entry being potentially put to air or otherwise published by the Station.
    
 
How to enter:
During the Competition Period:
(a) listeners will be invited via Station on-air commercials to visit the Station Website and complete the online entry form including by providing their contact details, nominating their Charity or community group, and stating in 25 words or less what their group or organisation does for the community.
(b) each entry submitted by the time specified by the Station will be individually reviewed by representatives of the Station. The Station will select one entry it deems to be the “best” from all valid entries received within the time period specified deeming them the winning entry,
(c) The station will highlight the winning entry in the breakfast show Friday 8th May 2020 . The station reserves the right but are not obligated to contact the winning entrant prior to putting the details of their entry to air.

Limitation on entries:
One entry per entrant during Competition Period

Any duplicate entries received from the same entrant will be deleted prior to the final draw or judging being conducted

Each valid entry will be individually judged (by representatives of the Promoter) based on, among other things, creativity, suitability for radio and Community or Charity group most deserving.

Prize Details:
There is one prize to be won, as follows: Prize: $5000 delivered via EFT transfer
 
For the avoidance of doubt, the prize will be deposited to a nominated
 bank account of the group or organization.

Up to $5000 inc GST

Winner Notification:

Winners will be notified:
- via telephone
- on air at the time of winning
 
Prize Claim and Delivery:
 
The prize will be transferred to the winning charity group or community organisation’s nominated bank account via electronic funds transfer.
