To help members identify what type of prize is offered by a comp, we now have a list of numbers displayed at the bottom of the 'Subject' column when looking at a board where comps can be posted (Web comps, Magazine comps etc ..)
These numbers are the Prize Category Codes for that particular competition.
By looking at these numbers you should be able to get an idea of what category of prize you can win by entering the competition.
There is a table in the blue area on the left explaining what each number means.

We've only just started categorising prize types so there'll be lots of comps which don't have these numbers.

We hope these little modifications will help you find more of the comps you'd like to enter.

The trouble with people lying to you because they think you're stupid, is that they're stupid enough to think you're that stupid in the first place.

Administrator: May I ask one suggestion? .... could another big prize 'CARAVAN' be added to the 'Major Prize'

Major Prize      •   House, Car, Boat or Holiday

OK, I'll add caravan to the Major Prize Category. Smile

Just remember that if you tick Major Prize, you can also tick Holiday or Automotive depending if the prize includes a vehicle or a holiday.
It helps when members are searching for vehicles that that they are also included in the Automotive section even though it's part of a Major Prize.

I understand the reasoning behind the new catagories, comp folios etc, but too be honest, the windows are getting a little too crowded for me.

Maybe I'm a lone dissenter, or just too low tech, but there is almost too much information on offer.  Or is it just me?
