Individuals will gain entry into the prize draw by
* Completing the on-line entry form and attaching the Dingo Solar sticker to their hot water system.
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry.
2. Entry is only open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over. Employees and immediate families of Dingo Solar and its agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible.
3. Only one entry is permitted per household. If the entrant is not the owner of the residential premises, then they warrant that they have sought and received the owners permission prior to entering the competition.
4. Entry is only open to households within the Sydney Metropolitan Area including Campbelltown, Penerith, Wollongong, Southern Highlands & Blue Mountains.
5. Dingo Solar reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry. Only one completed entry per person/ household is permitted.
6. Promotion commences 01/07/10. Entries close 11:59pm EST on 31/12/10. Draw will take place on 07/01/11 at Unit 2, 15-17 Chaplin Drive, Lane Cove West NSW 2066 at 3pm EST. Winners will be notified by mail, email and telephone and the name of the winner of the prize will be published in The Australian 14/01/11. Judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
7. The first valid entry drawn will win $5,000.00 cash. Note it is a condition of entry that the Dingo Solar sticker be affixed to the entrant’s hot water system. The prize will be re-drawn should an inspection reveal that the Dingo Solar sticker is not affixed to the entrants hot water system. Claims that a sticker was not received will be dismissed, if an entrant does not receive a sticker within seven (7) days of entering the competition then they must contact the Dingo Solar head office ph: 02 8012 8284 and request the re-issue of a sticker. No correspondence will be entered into.
8. Total prize value is $ 5,000.
9. Any costs in excess of the value of the prize (including GST) and all ancillary costs associated with redeeming the prize are the responsibility of the winner. Dingo Solar shall not be liable for a prize that has been lost, stolen, forged, damaged or tampered with in any way. Redemption of the prize is subject to the terms and conditions specified on any prize literature.
10. Dingo Solar may conduct such further draws at the same place as the original draw as are necessary at 3:00pm on 08/04/11 in order to distribute any prizes unclaimed by that date. Winners will be notified by mail, email and telephone and the name of the winner of the prize will be published in The Australian on 22/04/11. Judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
11. No responsibility accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries.
12. Dingo Solar is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, either caused by website users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in this competition, or by any technical error that may occur in the course of the administration of this competition. Dingo Solar assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.
13. Any costs associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used. Any contact details entered incorrectly on the website shall be deemed invalid.
14. Dingo Solar shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained, as a result of taking any of the prizes, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
15. Dingo Solar collects entrants’ personal information in order to conduct the promotion. If the information requested is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the promotion. By entering the promotion, unless otherwise advised, each entrant also agrees that Dingo Solar may use this information, in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference, payment or other compensation to the entrant, including sending the entrant electronic messages. Entrants’ personal information may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments and winners’ names published as required under the relevant lottery legislation. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to Dingo Solar via their website.
