WOMEN change hairstyles as many as 104 times.
That is the finding of stylists at Beyond Beauty Salon & Spa, which is celebrating its 17th year on Brisbane’s northside.
Beyond Beauty has found women on average change styles 104 times from the ages of 13 to 65, and have hair layered, shortened or coloured at least twice a year.
Beyond Beauty Salon owner Angela Musumeci said the most-cited reasons for a change included the start or end of a relationship, or marking a beginning such as becoming a mother.
She said women usually changed their style a little rather than doing a major change.
``With the latest styling, cutting techniques and products it is very simple to have change without altering hair length,’’ she said.
