Terms and Conditions
1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Entry is limited to Australian residents who are existing Optus Pre-Paid Mobile, Boost Mobile or Optus Pre-Paid Mobile Broadband or Boost Mobile Connect Wireless Broadband customers who enter the “Optus Recharge and Always Win” Promotion. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Optus Pre-Paid Mobile Broadband customers include those customers with an Optus Connect N Go plan but exclude customers on the Optus Mobile Broadband Connect plan.

Promotion commences at 12:01am AEST on 15/08/10 and closes 11:59pm AEST on 15/09/10 (“Promotional Period”).4.
To be eligible to enter, individuals must first successfully enter the “Optus Recharge and Always Win” promotion during the Promotional Period in accordance with the promotional Terms and Conditions located at www.optus.com.au/alwayswin 5. To enter, entrants must, once their entry into the “Optus Recharge and Always Win” Promotion is complete, click on the promotional banner advertisement that refers to the “Rihanna” Promotion, which will appear after their entry into “Optus Recharge and Always Win” promotion is complete, follow the prompts to the competition entry page, input the requested details and submit the fully completed entry form during the Promotional Period.
6. Multiple entries permitted, subject to the following: (a) only one (1) entry permitted per successful entry in the “Optus recharge and Always Win” promotion during the Promotional Period for this promotion; and (b) each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with entry requirements. 7. Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
8. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
9. The prize draw will take place at The Consortium Centre 87 Egerton Street, Silverwater NSW 2128 on 21/09/10 at 3:00pm AEST. Winners will be notified by mail and all winners’ names will be published online at
www.optus.com.au/alwayswin on 27/09/10. Winners of prizes who reside in Victoria will have their names published in The Australian on 27/09/10. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Entries will be divided into the following State/Territory groups: NSW/ACT, VIC/TAS, SA/NT, QLD and WA11. Prizes:
• The first two hundred and thirty seven (237) valid entries drawn in the NSW/ACT State/Territory group will each win a double pass to attend the Rihanna concert in Sydney, NSW.
• The first one hundred and eighteen (118) valid entries drawn in the VIC/TAS State/Territory group will each win a double pass to attend the Rihanna concert in Melbourne, VIC.
• The first thirty five (35) valid entries drawn in the SA/NT State/Territory group will win each a double pass to attend the Rihanna concert in Adelaide, SA.
• The first sixty (60) valid entries drawn in the QLD State/Territory group will each win a double pass to attend the Rihanna concert in Brisbane, QLD.
• The first fifty (50) valid entries drawn in the WA State/Territory group will each win a double pass to attend the Rihanna concert in Perth, WA. All Rihanna concerts are due to take place in February or March of 2011 on dates to be determined by the event organisers in its absolute discretion. In the event that there is more than one (1) concert date available at a particular location the Promoter will determine what concert the winner will attend in its absolute discretion. 12. Each double pass is valued up to $300. Winners and any companion will be responsible for any cost associated with travel to and from the designated Rihanna concert and all other ancillary costs associated with attending the concert.
13. The Rihanna double pass ticket prizes are subject to the event venue and ticket terms and conditions, including any applicable age restriction. The event organizers hereby expressly reserve the right to eject any winner (and/or his/her companion) for any inappropriate behaviour, including but not limited to intoxication, whilst participating in any element of the prize.
14. Total prize pool value in each group is as follows: NSW/ACT $71,100; VIC/TAS $35,400; SA/NT $10,500; QLD $18,000 and WA $15,000 Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. 15. A draw for any unclaimed prizes may take place on 21/12/10 at the same time and place as the original draw, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. Winners, if any, will be notified by mail and all winners’ names will be published online at
www.optus.com.au/alwayswin on 04/01/11. Winners who reside in Victoria will have their names published in The Australian on 04/01/11.
16. Entrants consent to the Promoter using the entrant's name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
17. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law
(a) to disqualify any entrant; or
(b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
18. Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid. 19. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following:
(a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control);
(b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference;
(c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter;
(d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions;
(e) if any or all of the Rihanna events are cancelled for any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter;
(f) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (g) use of a prize.
20. As a condition of accepting the prize, the winner (and any companion) must sign any legal documentation as and in the form required by the Promoter and/or prize suppliers in their absolute discretion, including but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form.
21. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter.
