Well now you can, just by entering this competition you and your band could be taking to the stage at One Movement for Music in Perth, one of the most important music events in the Southern Hemisphere. A pioneering music industry conference and festival in one, this could be the opportunity you have been waiting for to launch your band on the road to super stardom.

1. Tell us your band's myspace page
2. Tell us your band's hit track off your myspace page
3. In 200 words or less, tell us "Why is your band ready and deserving of a performance slot at One Movement?" For more information on the festival and all the amazing bands you could be sharing a bill with click here.

ENTRY INTO THE COMPETITION 1. Entry into the Channel [V] “One Movement Band” competition (the “Competition”) is open to all residents of Australia, aged 18 years and over. The Promoter is XYZnetworks Pty Limited (ABN: 71 066 812 119) of Level 1, 5 Thomas Holt Drive, North Ryde, NSW 2113 (the “Promoter”). Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry. Entry into the Competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions. 2. The officers, management and employees (or immediate family of an officer, manager or employee) of the Promoter, the agencies associated with this Competition, FOXTEL, AUSTAR, Optus TV and their related bodies corporate are not eligible to enter.
3. Competition begins at 9.00am (AEST) on Tuesday 10th August 2010 and closes at 11.59pm (AEST) on Sunday 5th September 2010 (the “Competition Period”). 4. To enter the Competition and be eligible to win the Prize, entrants must: (a) Be over the age of 18 years of age; (b) Register for membership online at
www.vmusic.com.au; (c) Complete the online entry form including a link to your band’s MySpace page (must include samples of your music) and highlight the title of your best track; and (c) in 200 words or less answer the following question “Why is your band ready and deserving of a performance slot at One Movement?” (the “Competition Question”) 5. All entries must include the entrant’s name, address, postcode, daytime phone number (including area code), mobile phone number (if applicable), email address and date of birth to be eligible for entry. All entries must be original and any entries which are incomplete entries or which contain defamatory, copyrighted, pre-used or offensive content will be ineligible. It is the entrant’s responsibility to inform the Promoter if their residential address, email address or phone number changes during the Competition Period.
6. Only 1 entry per band will be permitted. The use of any automated software or any other mechanical or electronic means that permits the participant automatically to enter repeatedly is prohibited (“Repeat Entry Device”). If the Promoter reasonably believes that an entrant is using any Repeat Entry Device, the Promoter may disqualify that entrant without notice.
PRIZE 7. There is 1 x Prize in total. The Prize consists of: • Return domestic economy airfares for up to five (5) people from the Prize winner’s nearest capital city to Perth (“Flight”), valued at a maximum of $5000; • 1 nights’ accommodation for up to five (5) people at a minimum 4 star apartment in Perth, valued at a maximum of $450; • All hotel/gig transfers valued at $300; • Per diems per band member per day valued at up to $375 in total; • 1 x delegate’s passes to One Movement Conference and Industry Showcases (“Event”), valued at $500; • Opportunity to perform at One Movement Festival, this is a money can’t buy prize. (the “Prize”) All aspects of the Prize must be used at one time. 8. The total maximum Prize pool value is $6625. The Prize values are the recommended retail values as provided by the suppliers and are correct at the time of printing. The Promoter is neither responsible nor liable for any change in the value of the Prize occurring between publishing date and date the Prize is claimed. All Prize values are in Australian dollars. 9. The Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash. The Prize or any element of the Prize cannot be exchanged for any other prize/s. The contents of the Prize will be at the Promoter’s sole discretion. The Prize is subject to availability and the terms and conditions of the entities supplying the Prize. The dates and venues selected by entrants cannot be changed at a later date. 10. The Prize is only valid for the Event in Perth as listed in clause 7. Entrants from locations outside of Perth are eligible to enter the Competition. JUDGING AND AWARD OF PRIZE 11. The Competition will be judged on the basis of which musical act the Promoter deems the best and most deserving of a place at One Movement, having regard to the quality of the musical performance and the creativity of their response to the Competition Question at Channel [V], Level 1, 5 Thomas Holt Drive, North Ryde, NSW 2113 on Monday 6th September 2010 at 10.00am (AEST).
