1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these conditions. Entries must comply with these conditions to be valid.
2. Entry is open to residents of Australia aged 18 years or older with a valid passport who fulfil entry requirements as stated in clause 3. Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and its agencies associated with this competition are not eligible to enter this competition.
3. To enter Participants must submit a photo depicting a creative way they have used Harvey Norman PhotoCentre products to decorate their home. Photo submissions must be made by either:
a. Send photo along with name and address details to Harvey Norman PhotoCentre Promotion, Locked Bag 5030, Alexandria NSW 2015
b. Email photo along with name and address details to competitions@notebookmagazine.com.4. The competition commences at 15/09/2010 00:01 AEST and ends 12/10/2010 23:59AEST (“Entry Period”).
Multiple entries will be accepted, however, each entry must be sent in as a separate correspondence.
5. This competition is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winners. All entries will be judged individually on their merits based on creativity. The best entry as determined by the judges, will win a prize.
6. Judging will take place 13/10/2010 at 2:00pm AEST at News Magazines 180 Bourke Road, Alexandria, NSW 2015. Entries will be judged by a panel of judges from News Magazines.
7. Entrants confirm and promise that their entry is original and does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party.
8. The (one) entry judged to be the best will win (one) Fuji Finepix JZ500 Digital Camera, valued at $299.
9. Entries received after the end date and time will not count towards the competition.
10. In the event that the prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter may substitute a prize for one of equal or greater value.
11. Prizes are not transferable and are not redeemable for cash. The judges’ decision is final and binding - no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries or other communications. Entries deemed void if forged, manipulated or tampered with in any way will be excluded from winning a prize.
12. Once the prize has left the Promoters premises they are not responsible for any late, or damage caused during delivery of the prize.
13. It is the Participants responsibility to contact the promoter with any changes in personal details.
14. Entry details remain the property of the Promoter. The submission photo, name and photograph of the winner may be used for promotional purposes by the Promoter, unless the winner otherwise notifies the Promoter at the time of accepting the prize.
15. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered or sustained (even if caused by negligence) as a result of entering this competition, accepting and/or using a prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
16. The Promoter reserves the right to request verification of age, identity, residential address of winners and any other information relevant to entry into or participation in this promotion. Verification is at the discretion of the Promoter, whose decision is final. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who is involved in any way in interfering or tampering with the conduct of this promotion.
17. The winner agrees to participate in any news media activities surrounding the promotion such as photographic shoots and interviews.
18. News Magazines collects your information to include you in this competition and will disclose the information to others who help us run the competition. We may also use the information to assist us in improving our goods and services and to contact you in the future in regard to our other goods and services. We may share your information with other persons or entities that assist us in performing the above or with another company which provides prizes for the competition.
