In case you didn’t know, ‘Ahlan wa salan!’ is Omani for ‘Welcome’. And it’s one word you’ll hear in abundance from the friendly locals as you explore the untouched beauty of Oman – with its stunning mountain ranges, spectacular desert landscapes, and its 2,700 kilometres of pristine sandy beaches.

The legendary home of Sinbad the Sailor, Oman is bordered on the north by the United Arab Emirates, on the northwest by Saudi Arabia, and on the southwest by the Republic of Yemen.

Far more traditional and less hectic than its neighbours, many Omanis still tend flocks of sheep and herds of camels, with tribal groups living traditional lifestyles in the mountains and having little contact with the outside world.

Ringed by jagged mountains and guarded by 17th-century forts, the capital Muscat is the jewel in Oman’s crown. Here, in this thriving port, visitors can watch traditional Arab shows sail out to sea, try their haggling skills for perfumes and fabrics in the local souk, or enjoy a delicious dinner at a charming wayside restaurant.

A chance to see the real Arabia - as opposed to a mass of shopping malls and hotels - Oman truly is a place where beauty has an address and Creative Holidays can help you create your ultimate Omani experience.

Creative Holidays - create your kind of Holiday.

I entered this one fine - my hubby couldn't enter with his birthdate, tried, tried, and tried again, and eventually entered with my birthdate! His birthday is the 31st of the month, so maybe their calendar was wrong!

I can't find the submit button!  It looks like they got a monkey to code the page - I found a few hidden links down the bottom, but no submit button.
