High Street Armadale Business Association Inc. ("HSA") 2010 Christmas Promotion

Competition Rules: 'Win $5,000 of the best shopping'

1. How to enter: Entry is open to any Australian resident who spends $50 or more in any store on High Street Armadale and submits an approved entry form. Once entry forms are filled out completely each entry form will be placed in a secure competition box and will remain in the store of purchase until the final day of the competition. There is no restriction as to how many times a contestant can enter as long as each purchase is at least $50.

2. Duration: The competition runs from 9am Wednesday 1st December 2010 to 4pm on Tuesday 21st December 2010. No late entry will be accepted.

3. Prize Draw: The winning prize will be drawn by the HSA Marketing Manager and the High Street Armadale Business Association President at Armadale Travel by 8.00pm on Tuesday 21st December.

4. Notification: The winner will be notified by phone as soon as possible after 8.00pm on Tuesday 21st December 2010. If the winner is unreachable a message will be left giving them until 8.00pm on the Wednesday 22nd December to respond. If the winner cannot after reasonable enquiry be contacted by 8.00pm Wednesday 22nd December the prize will be forfeited and another winner will be selected. The same procedure will be applied by HSA until a prize winner is selected. Each participant acknowledges that this procedure is reasonable having regard to the nature of the prize and the importance of it being enjoyed before the end of January 2011. A winner who is under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian when claiming or collecting the prize and in using the prize and also produce satisfactory evidence of identity. To redeem this prize the winner must provide original proof of purchase confirming their minimum $50 spend in a participating High Street Armadale store. Failure to produce the receipt will forfeit the entry and a new winner will be selected.

5. Prize details and value: The prize is a $5,000 shopping experience on High Street Armadale comprising a personal driver of a luxury car to collect and return the winner and friend / partner from their home address; two porters for the day; lunch for 2 at a participating restaurant / cafe of the winner's choice; and spending money. This prize is not transferable for cash, and can only be redeemed at stores on High Street Armadale and must be completed during one day during week commencing 24th Jan 2011.

6. Additional information: HSA is the judge of who wins the Shopping Experience, and its decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into. HSA is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained relating to the prize except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. HSA reserves the right to refuse to allow a winner to take part in any or all aspects of the prize, if HSA determines, in its absolute discretion, that a winner is not in the mental or physical condition necessary to be able to safely participate in the prize. Entries will become the property of HSA. The winner must sign a release form that gives permission to HSA to take photos of the winner's shopping experience, film the shopping experience, briefly interview the winner about their shopping experience and have full use of all images / footage and quotes. These will be placed on www.highstreetarmadale.com.au. The winner agrees to have their photo/s and quotes appear in any editorial in any publication that HSA may secure. All images / footage remain the property of HSA.

7. Ineligibility: Any natural person may enter a Competition, except for the following who shall be considered ineligible ("Ineligible Person"): an owner, operator, employee, contractor, agent or associate of a business carrying on business in High Street, Armadale or a member of the HSA committee ("Interested Person"); a Family Member of an Interested Person.

8. Data Collection: HSA advises that all entries will be added into the HSA database and an email will be sent asking customers if they would like to join our mailing list. All entrants who refuse to be on the mailing list will have their data destroyed.
