To be eligible to claim, individuals must purchase two Old El Paso™ kits from a participating store nationally between 07/02/11 and close of business on 30/04/11 (“Qualifying Purchase”) or until 5,000 valid claims have been received, whichever is first to occur. Offer is strictly limited to the first 5,000 claims received.

To claim, individuals must then either:

(a)   visit www.oldelpasoamigos.com.au, and follow the prompts to the promotional claim page, fully complete the claim form online, print and attach their original purchase receipt/s to the printed claim form and send together to “Old El Paso™ Movie Promotion, Edge Loyalty, Locked Bag 6005, Richmond Victoria, 3121”; or

(b)   write their full name, residential address, valid email address and phone number on a piece of paper, and attach their original purchase receipt/s and send together to Old El Paso™ Movie Promotion, Edge Loyalty, Locked Bag 6005, Richmond Victoria, 3121”.

The first 5,000 valid claims received during the offer period will receive a double movie pass valued at $36.00. Prices are correct at the time of printing. Offer is strictly limited to the first 5,000 valid claims received.
The first 5,000 successful claimants will be sent an email with a unique code and a website link. Claimants must click the link and enter their unique code as prompted to obtain a PDF of their movie pass.

Instructions on how to claim and the reward form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Claims are only open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over.

Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, participating stores and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to claim. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
Promotion commences on 07/02/11 and ends for purchases at close of business on 30/04/11. Claims end at last mail received on 06/05/11 or when 5,000 valid claims have been received, whichever is first to occur
The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of claims and claimants (including a claimant's identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any claimant who submits a claim that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the claim process. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
Incomplete or indecipherable claims will be deemed invalid.
Multiple claims are permitted, subject to the following: (a) only one claim permitted per specified purchase requirement; (b) each claim must be submitted separately and in accordance with claim requirements; and (c) a limit of three (3) claims permitted per household. Offer is strictly limited to the first 5,000 valid claims received.
Movies passes must be used at a participating cinema and may not be used for any of the following: (i) 3D movie sessions; (ii) during public holidays; (iii) ‘no free listing’ sessions; (iv) after 5pm on Saturdays; (v) Gold Class sessions; (vi) group bookings; or (vii) movie marathons. Movie passes must be redeemed by the date indicated on the movie passes.
Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the movie passes are not included. Any unused balance of the movie passes will not be awarded as cash. Redemption of the movie passes is subject to any terms and conditions of the issuer including those specified on the movie tickets.
In the event that there are remaining double movie passes at the end of the promotional period, these passes will not be distributed.
Total reward pool is valued at $180,000. All values are in Australian dollars and are inclusive of GST.
Claimants must retain their original product barcodes and a copy of their purchase receipt/s for all claims as proof of purchase. Failure to produce the required proof of purchase for all claims when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of ALL of a claimant’s claims and forfeiture of any right to an offer. Purchase receipt/s must clearly specify the store of purchase and that the purchase was made during the promotional period but prior to claiming.
If there is a dispute as to the identity of a claimant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the claimant.
The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
If for any reason a claimant does not redeem a reward by the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the reward will be forfeited.
If a reward is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the reward with a reward to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
Reward is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
Claimants consent to the Promoter using the claimant's name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a successful claimant (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this offer (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any claimant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the claimant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the State and Territories of Australia (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion.
Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any claim or reward claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in reward value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a successful claimant or entrant; or (f) use of a reward.
The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, offer suppliers and as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Claim is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the claimant. Claimants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All claims become the property of the Promoter.
