Dark Skies puts forward the idea that for the last fifty years the US government has been covering up an alien invasion. The series begins in 1961 with a pair of college grads Kim Sayers and John Loengard discover the existence of a super top secret government agency known as Majestic-12 led by Captain Frank Bach whose sole mission is to
battle the forces of The Hive – an alien race that is planning an earth take over.
Starring the likes of Eric Close, Megan Ward and J.T. Walsh Dark Skies is a fab series, touching on all those alien conspiracy theories that we know and love, all dating back to Roswell, New Mexico 1947 and taking in Kennedy, the Russians and everything else in between.
