To celebrate National Australia Bank’s ("NAB") new Facebook application, NAB are offering the first 1,000 lucky NAB customers, a free pair of Dunlop Volleys ("The Gift").
How to enter:
On 24/02/2011 a poll will be released on
www.facebook.com/nabstudents asking NAB Student Collective community members if they would prefer black Dunlop Volleys or white Dunlop Volleys. The voting period will last until 5pm EST on 10/03/2011 unless extended by the promoter.
The colour of the winning shoe colour will be decided by totalling the number of likes that shoe colour has received through the Facebook poll located on
www.facebook.com/nabstudents. The results from the Facebook poll advertising will also be taken into account when deciding the winning colour.
On 24/03/2011 at 9am EST, members of the community who are NAB customers will be given the option to redeem the winning shoe colour. NAB customers must be logged onto www.facebook.com/nabstudents, click on ‘Redeem’, and then submit their relevant details. Successful NAB customers will receive an email shortly after entering confirming their success or failure to enter into the 'NAB Student Collective Free Dunlop Volley' promotion.
The first 1,000 successful NAB customers will receive a pair of the winning shoe colour. The awarding of The Gifts to each successful participant will be dependent on these Terms and Conditions.
Terms and conditions:1.Information on how to enter on our website forms part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Failure to comply with these terms and conditions may result in disqualification.
2.Participation is only open to Australian permanent residents aged 18 years or over and who otherwise satisfy these Terms and Conditions. Employees (and their immediate families) of NAB, its subsidiaries and the agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to participate. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
3.The promotion begins on the 24/03/11 at 9am EST and ends on the 30/03/11 at 12pm EST, or the date on which all 1,000 Gifts have been claimed by NAB customers ("Promotional Period").4.To receive a Gift, during the Promotional Period, the participant must be a NAB customer and enter via the electronic form available from the NAB Student Collective Facebook page.www.facebook.com/nabstudents. Participants who voted for the colour that was not chosen by the community will still be entitled to enter.
5.Only one entry is permitted per person.6.The first eligible 1,000 participants who are NAB customers will each win a Gift. The Gift will be made available to the participants before May 2011 by post. The total number of Gifts available is strictly limited to 1,000.
7.If there is a dispute as to the identity or eligibility of any successful participant, NAB may request the successful participant to provide suitable proof of identity.
8.In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency, disaster, virus, power failure, technical malfunction or other event beyond NAB’s control, NAB reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion, subject to any requirements at law or relevant regulatory authority or otherwise.
9.If the participant is unable to receive the Gift, participants will forfeit all rights for the Gift, no cash or alternate Gifts will be provided and NAB will not be liable for any costs incurred by the participant as a result.
10.NAB accepts no responsibility for any incorrect, incomplete or lost entries.
11.Gifts are not exchangeable or transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. NAB will take no responsibility for lost, stolen or un-received Gifts.
12.NAB’s decision is final and no correspondence or communication will be entered into in relation to such decision or associated process.
13.Your personal information is collected by NAB for the purpose of administering the free Dunlop Volleys promotion; including using your information to verify that you are a NAB customer and to provide you with your Gift. Your personal information may be disclosed to other organisations involved in providing, managing or administering this promotion on behalf of NAB. 14.The Gift and promotion is by no means associated with Pacific Brands or Dunlop Volleys.
15.The Gift has a RRP of $59 from online retailers, It is the responsibility of the participant to determine the tax treatment (if any) of the receipt of the Gift, which maybe relevant to their individual circumstances.
16.If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned or if the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion is affected for any reason, subject to the approval of the State regulators, NAB may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, change or suspend the competition. NAB may disqualify any individual who tampers (or benefits from the tampering) with the entry process or the conduct of the competition or who has, in NAB’s opinion, engaged in conduct which is fraudulent, misleading or generally damaging to the reputation of NAB or has breached these Conditions of Entry.
17.In consideration for accepting the Gift, participants agree to participate in any promotional activity regarding receipt of the Gift and consent to their names and images being used in any promotional material.
18.Participants acknowledge that where any aspects of using the Gift involve inherent risks, it is there responsibility to ensure that they are sufficiently healthy and fit so as to undertake the activities associated with the Gift. Further, participants agree that NAB will not be liable for any loss (including without limitation, consequential or indirect loss), cost or damage, personal injury or death which is suffered (whether or not due to the negligence of any person) in connection with participating in this promotion or receiving and using the Gift, except any liability which cannot be excluded by law (and if so, that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
