I don't know what (Part 2 of 2) entails, as I only 'Liked' realestate.com.au to obtain enough information about the competition to post.

Official Rules

“WRITE ON IT” PROMOTION

HOW TO ENTER


One (1) image will be uploaded onto the realestate.com.au Facebook business page www.facebook.com/realestateaus on the official promotion entry page (“Promotional Website”) by 12:01am AEST every Monday, during the Promotional Period, where the Promotional Period runs from 12:01am Monday 16 May 2011 AEST to 11:00pm Sunday 26 June 2011 AEST.

In order to enter the promotion, individuals must visit the Promotional Website, “Like” realestate.com.au on Facebook, follow the prompts to the official promotion entry page, input the requested details including their first name, last name, email address, date of birth, country of residence, and enter their “funny” title and property description of the selected image in twenty five (25) words or less, and submit the fully completed entry form for the relevant image between Monday 12.01am AEST and the following Sunday 11:00pm AEST during the Promotional Period.

Entrants are then encouraged to share their entry with their Facebook friends to gain votes and to vote for their favourite entry.

Individuals will also be able to comment on entries on the Promotional Website and their own personal profiles, however, only entries submitted via the official promotion entry page will be eligible.

Individuals are limited to one (1) entry per image during the Promotional Period.

Voting for entries is permitted only on the Promotional Website. Individuals are limited to one (1) vote per entry.

OFFICIAL RULES – TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

2. Entry is only open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over.

3. Individuals are limited to one (1) entry per image during the Promotional Period.

4. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.

5. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

6. Only entries received via the official promotion entry page will be eligible.

7. Each entry must:

a) be original and must have been written by the entrant;

b) not be offensive, defamatory, unlawful or likely to cause offense to other persons;

c) be free of any claims, including copyright claims, by other parties; and

d) not have been published previously or have won a prize or an award in any other competition;

e) not promote or depict illegal or negligent activity.

The Promoter may exclude any entry that does not meet these criteria.

8. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.

9. Promotion commences 12.01am AEST on Monday 16 May 2011 and ends 11:00pm AEST on Sunday, 27 June 2011 (“Promotional Period”). Entries close for each image at 11:00pm AEST on the Sunday following the Monday that the property image was uploaded.

10. There will be a total of six (6) prizes awarded as part of this promotion.

Weekly Winners

11. This promotion is a game of skill in which chance plays no part in determining the winners.

12. Upon submission of a valid entry the entry will be displayed on the Promotional Website until the weekly deadline for submission of entries (“Voting Period”).

13. During the Voting Period members of the public who have a Facebook account (“Voters”) may vote at the Promotional Website for their favourite entries. A Voter may vote only:

a) once for each entry; and

b) manually (the use of automated means or a voting service is not permitted).

14. The Promoter may reject a vote at any time if it reasonably forms the opinion that the vote was not submitted in accordance with the requirements of clause 13. A vote that is not rejected by the Promoter is an Eligible Vote.

15. Each week after the weekly deadline for submission of entries has passed the four (4) entries that received the highest number of Eligible Votes during the relevant Voting Period will be judged by the Promoter. The Promoter will choose the weekly winning entry out of these four (4) shortlisted entries.

16. Each entry will be individually judged based on literary and creative merit of the entry provided.

17. The winner will be contacted in writing by email via the email address provided by the individual by the Wednesday following the weekly deadline for submission of entries.

18. Entries close for each week of the promotion on the dates and times specified in the table below. All times indicated are AEST unless specified otherwise. Entries for each week will NOT be entered into any subsequent weeks of the promotion.

    Week 1 - Entries open: Monday 16 May 2011 at 12.01am. Entries close: Sunday 22 May 2011 at 11:00pm. Winner contacted: Wednesday 25 May 2011.

    Week 2 - Entries open: Monday 23 May 2011 at 12.01am. Entries close: Sunday 29 May 2011 at 12pm. Winner contacted: Wednesday 1 June 2011.

    Week 3 - Entries open: Monday 30 May 2011 at 12.01am. Entries close: Sunday 5 June 2011 at 11:00pm. Winner contacted: Wednesday 8 June 2011.

    Week 4 - Entries open: Monday 6 June 2011 at 12.01am. Entries close: Sunday 12 June 2011 at 11:00pm. Winner contacted: Wednesday 15 June 2011.

    Week 5 - Entries open: Monday 13 June 2011 at 12.01am. Entries close: Sunday 19 June 2011 at 11:00pm. Winner contacted: Wednesday 22 June 2011.

    Week 6 - Entries open: Monday 20 June 2011 at 12.01am. Entries close: Sunday 26 June 2011 at 11:00pm. Winner contacted: Wednesday 29 June 2011.

20. The judges may select additional reserve entries which they determine to be the next best, and record them in order, in the case that an invalid entry or an ineligible entrant is selected as a provisional winner.

21. If there is a “tie” in the number of votes received, such that there is more than four (4) entries to be judged all of the “tied” entries will judged for the relevant week.

22. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

23. Each weekly winner can choose from one of the three prize packs listed below:

A. Bang & Ouflsen Beosound 8 speaker dock for iPhone, iPad and iPod. (recommended retail price of $ 1490) and Apple iPad 2 with WiFi and 3G, 64GB storage (recommended retail price of $949).
B. Flight Centre gift voucher for $3,000. Use subject to Flight Centre gift voucher terms & conditions.
C. Bunnings gift voucher for $3,000. Use subject to Bunnings gift voucher terms & conditions.


24. The total prize pool value of all weekly prizes is up to $18,000. Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise specified.

25. If any prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification.

26. As a condition of entering into this promotion, each entrant licences the Promoter to use their entry in any media for an unlimited period for any reason including but not limited to future promotional, marketing or publicity purposes. Each entrant warrants to the Promoter that each entry submitted is an original literary work of the entrant that does not infringe the rights of any third party. The entrant agrees to indemnify the Promoter against all costs and claims by third parties arising from a breach of this warranty. Entrants consent to any use of their entry which may otherwise infringe their moral rights pursuant to the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth).

27. Entrants consent to the Promoter using the entrant’s name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products and/or services manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.

28. If this promotion is interfered with or disrupted in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.

29. Any cost associated with accessing the Promotional Website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the internet service provider used. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid.

30. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; © any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) use of a prize.

31. As a condition of accepting a prize, the winner must sign any legal documentation as and in the form required by the Promoter and/or prize suppliers in their absolute discretion, including but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form.

32. Entry and continued participation in the Promotion is dependent on entrants following and acting in accordance with the Facebook Statement of Rights and Responsibilities, which can be viewed at http://www.facebook.com/terms.php.

33. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. Entrants understand that they are providing their information to the Promoter and not to Facebook. The information an entrant provides will only be used for the purposes outlined in clause 35 of these Terms and Conditions. Any questions, comments or complaints about this promotion must be directed to the Promoter and not to Facebook.

34. All entrants unconditionally and irrevocably release and discharge Facebook from any and all liability in relation to this Promotion.

35. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers and prize suppliers. Entry is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter. If the entrant does not provide accurate personal information the Promoter may determine that they are not eligible to win a prize. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
