HOLDEN TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

 
HOW TO ENTER
To enter, individuals must:
a.visit www.mtaasuper.com.au and follow the prompts to the promotional entry page during the promotional period;
b.input the requested details including their name, address, email, date of birth and indicate whether they are a current MTAA Super member;
c.provide an answer to the question “Tell us why you would like to win this experience?” in 25 words or less; and
d.submit the fully completed online entry form by 11.59pm AEST on 5/8/11.
 
If the entrant is not already a current MTAA Super member, they must then become a MTAA Super member by 11.59pm AEST on 5/8/11, in order for their entry to be considered.
This promotion is only open to individuals who are 18 years or over who are currently undertaking Certificate III or higher in Automotive Technology (in conjunction with a TAFE institution or qualified Registered Training Organisation) and at least in their 3rd year of apprenticeship.
 
FORD TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1.Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2.Entry is only open to Australian residents who are: (a) aged 18 years or over; and (b) a MTAA Super Member at the time entries close; and (c) currently undertaking a Certificate III or higher in Automotive Technology (at a TAFE institution or qualified Registered Training Organisation) and at least in their 3rd year of apprenticeship; (d) are available to take the prize between 12/9/11 and 18/9/11.
3.Employees and contractors (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and its related entities and any agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
4.The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
5.Incomplete, indecipherable, or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
6.It is a condition of entering this promotion that entrants must be a MTAA Super member by the end of the promotional period.  If an entrant completes the online entry form but does not become a MTAA Super member by 11.59pm AEST on 5/8/11, their entry will be declared invalid.
7.Only one entry permitted per person.
8.If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
9.Promotion commences 20/5/11 and entries close 11.59pm AEST on 5/8/11.
10.This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner.  Each answer will be individually judged on the basis of how compelling their entry is and how deserving the entrant is perceived to be.  The judges may select additional reserve entries which they determine to be the next best, and record them in order, in case of an invalid entry or ineligible entrant.
11.The winner will be notified by 18/8/11.
12.The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
13.The best valid entry, as determined by the judges, will win a seven (7) day work experience (between 12/9/11 and 18/9/11) with the Ford Performance Racing Team in their Melbourne Headquarters at Campbellfield and the opportunity to attend the V8 Supercars L&H Phillip Island 500.  The prize is valued at up to $2,500 depending on the winner’s point of departure.
14.The itinerary for the winner will be follows:

12/9/11-14/9/11 Visit Ford Performance Racing Team Workshop (Campbellfield)
15/9/11 Transfer to Phillip Island
15/9/11-18/9/11 Guest of MTAA Super and the Ford Performance Racing Team at L&H Phillip Island 500
18/9/11 Transfer back to Melbourne
The prize also includes: three (3) nights accommodation from 15/9/11 to 18/9/11 at Phillip Island, return transfers from Melbourne to Phillip Island, breakfast, lunch and dinner daily between 15/9/11 – 18/09/11 and $400 spending money. Exact details of the accommodation venue will be provided to the winner closer to the event dates.   
If the winner resides more than 30km from Campbellfield, the prize also includes three (3) nights, three (3) star accommodation in Campbellfield or a neighbouring suburb in order for the winner to attend the workshops between 12/9/11 and 18/9/11. In addition, a return train or bus trip may be included from the winner’s nearest major town to the accommodation venue, as determined by the Promoter, in its absolute discretion.
If the winner is not from Victoria, the prize also includes return economy airfares from the winner's nearest capital city to Victoria and return transfers from the airport to the accommodation venue. However, the Promoter may replace the airfare component of the prize with another form of transport in consultation with the winner, at the Promoter’s absolute discretion.
Additional spending money, additional meals, insurance, transport to and from departure point, additional transfers, items of a personal nature, in-room charges and all other ancillary costs are not included. Prize must be taken between 12/9/11 and 18/9/11.
15.As a condition of visiting the various workshops and attending the V8 Supercars L&H Phillip Island 500, the winner must comply with all directions of the Promoter, the Ford Performance Racing Team and Activity organisers at all times and wear all safety and other equipment required. The Promoter, in its absolute discretion, at all times reserves the right to prevent any winner from participating in any element of the prize if, at any time, it reasonably believes that the winner poses a safety risk or for any other reason.
Further, the access and/or tasks made available to the prize winner by the Promoter and/or prize supplier at the time the prize is taken will be determined by the Promoter and/or prize supplier in their absolute discretion.
16.The winner may not be in the Ford Performance Racing Team pits during the V8 Supercars L&H Phillip Island 500 but will enjoy corporate hospitality of MTAA Super while watching the race.
17.Attendance at the V8 Supercars L&H Phillip Island 500 event element of the prize is subject to the event venue and ticket terms and conditions, including any applicable age restriction. The Promoter and event organisers hereby expressly reserve the right to eject the winner for any inappropriate behaviour, including but not limited to intoxication, whilst participating in any element of the prize.
18.Itinerary to be determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
19.Subject to the terms and conditions of the participating prize provider(s), if for any reason a winner does not, once the prize has been booked, take the prize or an element of the prize at the time stipulated, then the prize or that element of the prize will be forfeited and will not be redeemable for cash.
20.In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion.
21.Winner may be required to present credit card at time of accommodation check in.
22.If the prize (or part of the prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification.
23.Prize, or any unused portion of the prize, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
24.All entries submitted become the property of the Promoter. Entries will not be returned to any entrant. As a condition of entering into this promotion, each entrant licences the Promoter to use their entry in any media for an unlimited period for any reason including but not limited to future promotional, marketing or publicity purposes. Each entrant warrants to the Promoter that each entry submitted is an original literary work of the entrant that does not infringe the rights of any third party.  The entrant agrees to indemnify the Promoter against all costs and claims by third parties arising from a breach of this warranty.  Entrants consent to any use of their entry which may otherwise infringe their moral rights pursuant to the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth).
25.Entrants consent to the Promoter using the entrant's name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
26.If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
27.Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.
28.Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter and their related entities (including officers, employees and agents of the aforementioned parties) exclude all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) if the Supercars L&H Phillip Island 500 Race is cancelled, postponed or varied for any reason; (f) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; (g) attendance at the Supercars L&H Phillip Island 500 Race; or (h) participation in any element of the prize or attending any prize location, including any of the Ford Perfomance Racing Team workshops.
29.As a condition of accepting the prize, the winner must sign any legal documentation as and in the form required by the Promoter / Prize Supplier / event organisers in their absolute discretion including but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form. 
30.The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, and prize suppliers. Entry is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
