 Lady Gaga is of Italian and more distant French-Canadian ancestry, the Northern Lights appear over northern Canada, Canada is a Commonwealth country (Mabye the reference to the King), Vancouver is known for it's arty districts and was also the host of the Winter Olympic Games.  Anyway doing my head in too, so being a Brisbane girl I'm off to watch the rest of the Broncos V Warriors.  Good luck everyone!

They really have made this one overly difficult. As somebody mentioned earlier. There are clever clues and then there are just pointless clues (which most of them have been so far).

tulip - I think you might have it! Here are how some of the other clues fit into your choice

CLUE #1: What is one of Lady Gaga's first hits?

CLUE #2: Check out what "snow capped mountain range" translates into in different languages

CLUE #5: Definitely looks like bright neon lights to me

CLUE #7: The girl in "Strictly Ballroom" came from a Spanish background - in fact she may have even had a Spanish name!

I think so too!  There is a King Johns Complex there and you find mule dear around that area, also looked at the charms on the bracelet, horshoes and clovers, Lady Gaga is playing there, the rat pack played Vegas a lot, I was thinking about blind man's bluff, Sammy Davis Junior only had one eye (stretching that one), the Titanic Exhibition is there.  All the Wedding Chapels. Brushing shoulders with royalty the suits on the cards.Yep, all fits.!
