For all competitions which we run through Facebook, there are certain terms and conditions, which it is important for you to note now, instead of after entering. As there is nothing worse than winning, then finding out you don't get to win heaps of Central Station stuff just because you ignored those stupid things known as Terms and Conditions.
These terms and conditions apply to the Bombs Away 'Supersoaker' promotion (effective October/ November 2011):
1. Entry to competitions are open only to Australian Residents Only.
2. To be eligible to win the major prize you must be currently aged 17 and over, or have your 17th birthday prior to November 29 2011 (same rules apply to your friend you select to take on the Gold Coast trip if you win). This is non negotiable, and no-substitutions will be made for winners who are below this age.
3. Prizes include (please note the conditions):
Major Prize:
- Return flights for you and friend to the Gold Coast, from the closest airport to you in Australia. You must cover your own transport to and from the airport you fly from.
- Transport on the Gold Coast will be provided to and from your hotel and to the Bombs Away performance (any additional transport expenses incurred must be covered by you).
- Two nights accommodation on the Gold Coast (additional expenses incurred by you; i.e. mini bar, room service will be your own responsibility).
- Winners aged 17 will win tickets to 'Summer Love Schoolies Festival', featuring Bombs Away at the Gold Coast Convention Centre November 30 2011.
- Winners aged 18 and over will win tickets to 'Chemistry Boat Party' featuring Bombs Away on the Gold Coast, December 2 2011.
- Two tickets to the Skypoint Observation Deck - Dreamworld.
- $250 Prize Pack consisting of Central Station albums and Bombs Away merchandise.
Runner Up Prizes:
- Top 3 winners as selected by Central Station judge 'Ed Colman' (Party People) will all receive a $250 Central Station/ Bombs Away Prize Pack (Top 3 winners will be announced Tuesday 1/11/2011 - see point 6).
Weekly Prizes:
- Weekly runner up prizes include 12 x Wild Summer 2012 albums and 3 x $250 Central Station/ Bombs Away Prize Packs (consisting of Central Station albums and Bombs Away merchandise).
Weekly winners will be drawn at random and announced each Thursday during the promotion on Facebook: 13/10/2011, 20/10/2011 and 27/10/2011 (each week 1 x $250 Prize Pack and x 4 Wild Summer 2012 Albums will be given away).
4. Entries must be submitted via Central Station Facebook site to be considered
www.facebook.com/centralstationAU 5. All entries must be submitted by midnight Monday 31/10/2011 (EST), no entries after this date will be considered.
6. Tuesday 1/11/2011 the top 3 entries will be announced on the Central Station Facebook site
www.facebook.com/centralstationAU - Once announced the Top 3 decision is final.
7. Tuesday 1/11/2011 - 12:00pm Monday 7/11/2011 (EST) the top 3 entries will be open to public vote on Facebook, the entry with the most votes (each 'like' for your entry on Facebook is considered one vote) at 12:00pm Monday 7/11/2011 (EST) will be announced the winner. (Should the event of a draw occur, the voting period will be extended another two hours until 2:00pm Monday 7/11/2011 EST).
8. If you win the competition, we will make the announcement through our Facebook wall. To claim your prize, please email promo[at]csrecords.com.au. After the announcement you have 21 Days to make contact with us to claim your prize. A representative from Central Station will also be in touch via Facebook.
- If you are unable to travel to the Gold Coast for the major prize you may offer the prize to a friend(s), both persons must be 17 or over. (See rule number 2 above).
9. All competitions run through here are games of skill, and chance plays no part in determining the winner.
10. Our decision of who wins each competition is ours, and ours alone.
11. All competitions run across our fan page are in no way associated with, run by, or related to Facebook. If you feel that there has been an error on our part in the running of any competition, then please contact us at promo[at]csrecords.com.au.
12. When entering the competition you agree to legally promote Bombs Away's 'Supersoaker' single, under no circumstance are you to give away free copies of the single and any unauthorised copying, broadcasting hiring or rental of the single is prohibited. As a result your entry will be forfeited.
13. You are free to enter the competition as many times as you like.
14. If you don't agree or feel that these terms and conditions are fair, then do not enter the competitions we run.
PLEASE NOTE: Although we love you being creative and crazy, please play it safe and obey the law, keeping anything you do legal. Sorry, but we will not be responsible for and trouble you find yourself in (i.e. we will not bail you out of prison or pay your medical bills). Central Station (and associate partners and sponsors) will not take any responsibility should you be silly enough to break the law or injure yourself entering this competition. If you ignore this, your amazing entry will be terminated on the spot (and that would suck, right?)
