Employees and their immediate families of Woolworths and its related companies and agencies involved in this promotion are ineligible to enter.
The competition commences at 12:01am (AEST) on 30/11/2011 and concludes on 11:59pm (AEST) on 13/12/2011.
To enter, visit woolworthschristmas.com.au and find the hidden Christmas Stockings with letters on them throughout the Christmas site to spell out a secret 5-letter word. Once you've found all 5 letters and solved the puzzle, provide your full name, telephone number, email and postal address using the online entry form. You may enter (1) one time per day plus receive up to (2) two "bonus" entries by sharing this competition on your personal Facebook and Twitter accounts. Each entrant is eligible for up to (3) entries per day with a maximum of 42 entries over the promotion period.
There will be a different secret Christmas word to find each day. Prizes will be drawn (2) two times during the promotion period 7/12/2011 and 14/12/2011 with 14 prize winners in total. Entries for the prize draw open at 12:01am (AEST) on 30/11/11 and close at 11:59pm (AEST) on 6/12/11 and 13/12/11 respectively.
Two prize draws will take place at 11:00am AEST on 7/12/2011 and 14/12/2011 respectively at Unit 1, 3 Green Street, Brookvale NSW 2100.
Each week for two (2) weeks, seven (7) randomly drawn names will be selected and will each win a 12-Days of Christmas Hamper valued at $496.95. The total value of the prize pool is $6,957.30. There are a total of 14 prizes to be won. Winners will be notified by email. The prizes will be couriered to the address of the winners provided during competition entry. The Promoter will not be responsible for incorrect address details provided by the prize winners, or for any failure of the prize winners to be available for delivery. In the event of inability to deliver, the prize winner will be responsible for the costs of redelivery.
Prizes cannot be transferred and cannot be redeemed for cash.
Prizes are the recommended retail value as provided by the supplier and are correct at the time of printing.
If a winner is under 18 years of age, then the prize will be awarded to the parent or legal guardian of the winner, on the winner's behalf
The judge's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Winners will be notified within 2 days of each weekly prize draw and published on woolworthschristmas.com.au on 12/12/11 and 19/12/11 respectively. Winners will also receive written notification via email. The names of all the winners will also be published in The Australian newspaper on 19/12/11.
The Promoter shall conduct such draws as may be necessary at Unit 1, 3 Green Street, Brookvale NSW 2100 on 19/03/12 to distribute any prizes in the draw described in term [9] above which have been undeliverable due to the unavailability of the prize winner. Winners will be notified in writing via email and the results will be published in The Australian newspaper on 24/03/12.
All entries become the property of the Promoter and entries will not be returned. All winning entries will be entered into a database. With the consent of the winner, the Promoter may use the winner's full name and other details for any promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media worldwide without any fee being paid to the winner.
To the full extent permitted by the law neither the Promoter nor any of their associated agencies accepts any liability for any injury, damages, expenses or loss whatsoever (whether direct or consequential) to persons or property arising from or in connection with this offer.
If the Promoter forms the view in its sole discretion that an entry or the entry process for any entrant has been tampered with or otherwise does not comply with these rules, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify that entry.
Subject to the approval of all relevant State and Territory Lottery Departments, if for any reason the Promoter determines in good faith and its sole discretion that this promotion is not capable of running as planned due to any agent or event beyond the control of the Promoter, which might corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion or which may change the intended result or prevent or hinder its determination, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the promotion at any time and recommence it on similar terms and conditions when and as determined by the Promoter.
