TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By entering the Sunrise ‘Paul’s Cash Cow’ promotion, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:
STANDARD TERMS
Information on how to enter forms part of the terms and conditions of entry.
WHO CAN ENTER?
Subject to clause 2.2, entry is not open to residents of ACT, but is open to all other residents of Australia, 18 years if age or older, where the Channel Seven signal is received.
Employees and their immediate families of Seven Network (Operations) Ltd, MNET Group Limited, Parmalat Australia Ltd and their associated agencies and companies associated with this promotion are not eligible to enter.
HOW TO ENTER:
The competition commences on Monday 13 February 2012 at 6.00am (AEDT) and concludes on Friday 17 February 2012 at 4.30pm (AEDT) (“the Competition Period”) however, the eligible entry period for each daily prize will commence and conclude on the following dates and times:

In order to enter, viewers must watch Sunrise (“the Program”) on the Seven Network during the Competition Period. Each morning throughout the Competition Period there will be a competition segment aired during the Program (or any replacement program broadcast in the Sunrise timeslot) which will disclose a code word each day.

In order to enter, viewers must either:
 
Phone 1902 55 77 07 and register the daily code word, the entrant’s name, address, state, postcode, contact daytime telephone number (including STD area code); or

send a text message/SMS to 19 777 077 including the daily code word and the entrant’s full name and address.
1902 prefix telephone number and SMS entry lines will remain open from Monday 13 February 2012 at 6:00am (AEDT) to Friday 17 February 2012 at 4:30pm (AEDT).


For viewers in all states, the entry costs (for both 1902 and SMS entry) is $0.55 (including GST). Note that SMS entries are charged at premium rate. Higher rates apply to calls to the 1902 prefix phone numbers from mobile phones.
Entrants (including the winners) may enter the competition as many times as they like. The time of entry will in each case be the time the SMS message and/or 1902 telephone call are received by the MNET Group database.

SMS entries via the internet or computer generation are invalid and will not be accepted.

 4. PRIZES
4.1 There will be one (1) prize winner each day (5 prize winners in total throughout Competition Period). Winners will receive:
1 x $500 for each winner drawn
An additional 1 x $19,500 for each winner that answers their telephone when called as set out in clauses 5.2, 5.3, 5.4, 5.5, 5.6 and 5.7
TOTAL PRIZE POOL VALUE: $100,000
Cheques will be made payable to each winner to the value of the prize won.
4.2 In participating in the prizes, the winners agree to participate and co-operate as required in all editorial activities relating to the Competition, including but not limited to being interviewed and photographed. The winners grant the promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use such footage and photographs in all media worldwide and they will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
4.3 Winners should seek independent financial advice about any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings.
4.4 The winners agree they will not sell or otherwise provide their story and or photographs to any media or other organisation.

4.5 Full details of prizes can be obtained by telephoning the Seven Network in each state on Sydney 02 8777 7777; Melbourne 03 9697 7777; Adelaide 08 8342 7777; Brisbane 07 3369 7777; Perth 08 9344 0777.
5. HOW TO WIN
5.1 One (1) prize winner each day (5 in total) will be drawn from the national pool of daily entrants received. Each entrant who has entered the competition over the Competition Period and registered all details in accordance with clause 3 by using the 1902 prefix telephone number or a mobile phone with a reply path whose SMS message has passed through the Telco carriers between the daily competition dates and times as stated in clause 3.1 (“Qualifying Entrant”) will be entered into the relevant daily draws following the close of entries for that draw. Daily draws will be conducted on Monday 13 February 2012, Tuesday 14 February 2012, Wednesday 15 February 2012, Thursday 16 February 2012 and Friday 17 February 2012 at 4.40pm AEDT. All draws will take place at MNET Group Limited, Level 1, 16 Anster Street, Adelaide SA 5000. Each winner drawn in accordance with clause 5.1 will win $500.
Each day from Tuesday 14 February 2012 to Monday 20 February 2012 (inclusive) Sunrise will attempt to announce the one (1) winner for that day live on the Sunrise program. The winner must be available to receive a telephone call confirming their prize on the dates detailed in clauses 5.3, 5.4, 5.5, 5.6 and 5.7 below to be able to win an additional $19,500.
On Tuesday 14 February 2012 the hosts of Sunrise will call the Day 1 winner from the draw conducted in clause 5.1. The entrant will be contacted as per the telephone number provided within their IVR or SMS entry. The entrant will be required to answer the phone within 10 rings. If winner does not answer the phone any claim to the additional prize of $19,500 will be forfeited and the Day 1 additional prize value will jackpot and be carried over to the Day 2 prize pool.
On Wednesday 15 February 2012 the hosts of Sunrise will call the Day 2 winner from the draw conducted in clause 5.1. The entrant will be contacted as per the telephone number provided within their IVR or SMS entry. The entrant will be required to answer the phone within 10 rings. If winner does not answer the phone any claim to the additional prize of $19,500 will be forfeited and the Day 2 additional prize will jackpot and be carried over to Day 3 prize pool.
On Thursday 16 February 2012 the hosts of Sunrise will call the Day 3 winner from the draw conducted in clause 5.1. The entrant will be contacted as per the telephone number provided within their IVR or SMS entry. The entrant will be required to answer the phone within 10 rings. If winner does not answer the phone any claim to the additional prize of $19,500 will be forfeited and the Day 3 additional prize will jackpot and be carried over to Day 4 prize pool.

On Friday 17 February 2012 the hosts of Sunrise will call the Day 4 winner from the draw conducted in clause 5.1. The entrant will be contacted as per the telephone number provided within their IVR or SMS entry. The entrant will be required to answer the phone within 10 rings. If winner does not answer the phone any claim to the additional prize of $19,500 will be forfeited and the Day 4 additional prize will jackpot and be carried over to Day 5 prize pool.
On Monday 20 February 2012 the hosts of Sunrise will call the Day 5 winner from the draw conducted in clause 5.1. The entrant will be required to answer the phone within 10 rings. If winner does not answer the phone any claim to the additional prize of $19,500 will be forfeited and any claim to the additional prize will be forfeited.
In the event that any jackpot value remains at the end of the Sunrise program on Monday 20 February 2012 the value will be deemed unclaimed.
Only one prize per person, per household will be awarded (with the exception of SA residents who are entitled to win more than one prize).
Daily winners may be announced in Sunrise the next day. Winners will be notified by phone call within 2 days of the draw and a letter advising winners of their prize will also be mailed out. All winners will be published in the Public Notices section of The Australian newspaper on Monday 27 February 2012.
The promoter’s decision is final and the promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the result.
It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
Subject to State government legislation an unclaimed prize draw from all non-winning entries will take place at MNET Group Limited, Level 1, 16 Anster Street, Adelaide SA 5000 on Monday 4 June 2012 at 10.00am AEST. Winners will be notified by phone call within 2 days of the draw and a letter advising winners of their prize will also be mailed out, winners details will be published in the Public Notices section of The Australian newspaper on Monday 11 June 2012.

NO LIABILITY

6.1 The Seven Network (Operations) Ltd & affiliates, MNET Group Limited, Parmalat Australia Ltd and their associated agencies and companies associated with this promotion, will take no responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit, or late, lost or misdirected mail.
6.2 The Seven Network (Operations) Ltd & affiliates, MNET Group Limited, Parmalat Australia Ltd and their associated employees, agencies and companies associated with this promotion will not be liable for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss or claim, damages, costs and expenses suffered, sustained or incurred (including but not limited to indirect or consequential) as a result of, or arising out of, or in any way connected with this promotion and/or its prizes that may occur:
(a) during the draw;
(b) in the participation in any prize;
(c) as a consequence of late, lost or misdirected mail;
(d) due to the broadcast of any program relating to the competition or the publication of any material, including any statements made by any compere, staff member, journalist, other entrants or any other person;
(e) in relation to failure of an SMS entry message to be received by the promoter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion;
arising from or related to any problem or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines or mobile communications network related to or resulting from participation in this promotion; or
due to circumstances outside the promoter’s reasonable control.
Subject to State Regulation, in the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions.

Subject to State Regulation, if for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, due to causes including but not limited to tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition.

do you have to answer with "i wake up with sunrise" if they call or something like that?

No, don't have to say any "saying", but, you have to answer their call, within 10 rings. - If you don't answer within the set time frame, the cash will jackpot to next day.

Hi there,
I keep trying to enter the Cash Cow competition by SMS but I get an invalid message.
Today, Wednesday 15th, I put Money. My name and my address.
Is there something I am doing wrong?

I'm no SMS expert, far from it, but any time I have trouble it's usually because I've put the wrong number in. Last week was having trouble with one comp and discovered I was putting in a double 9 instead of triple. The other thing may be your provider. I had to get my provider to allow me to send to these numbers.  If you keep having problems perhaps give your provider a call and see if they can help.
