CHOOSING THE CORRECT CATEGORY TO POST A COMP
When deciding which category to post a competition,
please ask yourself the following questions and post the comp into the FIRST section you can answer 'yes' to :

1.  Do you need to visit a Social Media website to enter this competition or claim the prize?
 >> Social Media Competitions.

2.  Are you required to send an SMS message or Telephone someone? (This is the ONLY way to enter)
>> Phone in and SMS Competitions

3.  Is this a comp run from another country but allows Australian entries?
>>> International Competitions.

4.  Is the prize a 'Sample' or 'Free offer'?
>> Free Stuff (Pick a section)

5.  Is this comp drawn in sections and has multiple win dates?
>> On-going Competitions (Pick a section)

6.  Is the closing date for entering the competition missing?
>> Comps with NO Closing Date

7.  Is this comp a pending comp?  (You're not sure if it's started yet)
>> Up-coming Competitions.

8.  Is the comp run by a member for the benefit of other members?
>> Member Competitions.

9.  Is a member asking other members to vote for them in a competition?
>> People's Choice Competitions.

10. Is this comp directly targeted at children?
>> Children's Competitions.

11. Is this a comp run by a TV or Radio Station or it arrived in your mail?
>> TV , Radio & Mail Competitions.

12. Is this comp run 'In Store' where you MUST visit a particular place (shop, club etc..) to get or submit your entry?
>> In-Store Competitions.

13. Is this comp advertised in a Magazine or Newspaper?
>> Magazine Competitions.

14. Is this comp advertised on the internet and allows Internet entries?
>> Web Competitions.

15. Are you confused into which category to post your comp?
>> I Don't know where to post!

In some cases, it may be difficult to decide the correct category even if the above procedure is followed.
In that case, please use the  'I Don't know where to post!'  section and a Moderator will move your post to the correct location.

Ultimately, it's up the Moderators to decide what section is more appropriate irrespective of the above guidelines.

Go for it, give it a tweet!
