Arora 'Win A Car A Month' 2013 Terms & Conditions
Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these conditions. Entries must comply with these conditions to be valid.
Entry is open to residents of New South Wales. Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and its agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Participants who are under the age of 18 must seek permission from their parent or guardian.
To enter:
Make a purchase of a $30 or more (excluding tobacco, liquor, fuel, public transport tickets, gaming products and gift cards) between 05/08/2013 and 26/01/2014 at any participating Arora’s Supa IGA store (Bankstown, Bonnyrigg, Casula, Engadine, Erskine Park, Georges Hall, Meadowbank, Menai, St John's Park) or Arora’s IGA store (Bangor, Condell Park, Eastwood, Jannali, Mortdale, Penrith Nepean, Quakers Hill, Ramsgate, Revesby, Sutherland, Telopea).
Consumers must enter the major prize draw by visiting
www.arorawinacaramonth.com.au and completing the online entry form between 05/08/2013 and 26/01/2014.
Multiple entries will be accepted, however, each entry must correspond to a separate purchase of $30 or more (excluding liquor, tobacco, fuel, public transport tickets, gaming products and gift cards) during the Promotional Period and must be submitted as a separate entry. Entry is limited to 5 entries per day per entry mechanic.
Entrants must retain a clear copy of their original receipt as proof of a valid purchase during the relevant Promotional Period. Promoter reserves the right to request proof of purchase of each entry made to verify all entries before awarding the prize.

Total prize pool is valued up to $126,708 (including GST) including on road cost but excluding comprehensive insurance.
The choice of colour is by agreement between the winner and the car dealer selected by the Promoter, based on available options. The Promoter cannot guarantee any particular colour or option will be available. Any and all other costs are payable by the winner, including but not limited to any and all additional taxes, vehicle and property damage insurance, comprehensive insurances and any other costs payable in connection with the prize. Any discussion in relation to upgrade of the prize is a matter for the winner and the car dealer. Car must be collected by the winner at their cost from the nominated Hyundai dealer.
There will be one entry drawn per month. After each draw, any entries submitted up to that date will become null and void.
All taxes which may be payable as a consequence of receiving a prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
The names of the of all prize winners will be published in the Sydney Morning Herald on the following dates:

Winners will be notified by email within 3 days of the relevant draw
If a winner is under 18 years of age, then the Promoter reserves the right in its absolute discretion to award the prize to the winner’s parent or guardian and/or require that the parent or guardian and/or child execute such acknowledgment, indemnity and release as reasonably required in the circumstances. Winners must hold a current driver’s licence, valid in their state of residence.
Any unclaimed prize will be the subject of a second chance draw on 27/03/2014 at the same time and place as the first draw. Winners will be notified in the same manner as the initial draw and the names of any second-chance winners will be published in The Australian on 03/04/2014. Winners will be notified by email within 3 days of the second chance draw.
Prizes are not variable or transferable. Prizes are not redeemable for cash. The Promoter’s decision is final and binding - no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries or other communications. Entries will be deemed void if illegitimate, forged, manipulated or tampered with in any way.
In the event that any prize (or any part of the prize) becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter may substitute a prize (or the relevant part of a prize) with a prize of equal or greater value, subject to any written directions from the various lottery authorities.
All valid claims for prizes will be met notwithstanding that the advertised prize pool has been exceeded. Printing errors or other quality control matters will not be used as the sole basis for refusing to award a prize.
The Promoter reserves the right to request verification of age, identity, residential address of winners and any other information relevant to entry into or participation in this promotion. Verification is at the discretion of the Promoter, whose decision is final. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions, or who is involved in any way in interfering or tampering with the conduct of this promotion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered (even if caused by negligence) as a result of accepting and/or using a prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any failure to receive an entry or for inaccurate information or for any loss, damage or injury as a result of technical or telecommunications problems, including security breaches. If such problems arise, then the Promoter may (where necessary with the approval of the relevant lottery authority) modify, cancel, terminate or suspend the promotion.
Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event that they are a winner in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome) and/or promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
Details from entries will be collected and used for the purpose of conducting this promotion (which may include disclosure to third parties, including local lottery authorities, for the purpose of processing and conducting the promotion) and for promotional purposes surrounding this promotion. By entering this promotion entrants consent to the use of their information as described and agree that the Promoter may use this information, or disclose it to other organizations that may use it, in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference or payment to the entrant. Entrants may access, change and/or update their personal information and obtain a copy of the Promoter’s privacy policy by contacting the Promoter on (02) 9659 4002 during office hours.
All contestants release from, and indemnify the Promoter, their related bodies corporate and all associated agencies against, all liability, cost, loss or expense arising out of acceptance of any prize(s) or participation in the competition including (but not limited to) loss of income, personal injury and damage to property and whether direct or consequential, foreseeable, due to some negligent act or omission or otherwise. The Promoter, their related bodies corporate and all associated agencies accept no responsibility for any loss, damage, accident, death or injury resulting from the promotion except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
