Terms & Conditions
Aerogard – Registration Competition1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these conditions. Entries must comply with these conditions to be valid.
2. The Promoter is Reckitt Benckiser (ABN 17 003 274 655) of 44 Wharf Road, West Ryde, 2114 NSW Australia. (PH: 1800 022 046).
3. The competition opens 11.00 AEDT 14th October 2013
and closes 17.00 AEST 28th February 2014. (Competition Period).
Eligibility to Enter

Entry is open to residents of Australia who are 18 years and over and reside within Australia. (“Eligible Entrants”)5. Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and its agencies associated with this Competition are ineligible to enter.
The Prize
6. The winner of the prize draw will win the retail gift cards set out in clause 7 below towards an outdoor dining makeover (clause 7.a), valued at a total of $5,000.00 (Prize)
7. An Eligible Entrant will be eligible to win one (1) Major Prize. The Major Prize consists of:
(i) $1,500 BBQs Galore gift card
(ii) $1,000 Woolworths Everyday gift card
(iii) $2,500 Freedom gift card
(Gift Card or Gift Cards)
8. Redemption of the Prize is subject to any terms and conditions specified as part of the Gift Cards and to each individual retailer’s standard terms and conditions.
9. Defaced, mutilated, altered, lost or stolen Gift Cards will not be replaced, refunded or redeemed. The Gift Cards are redeemable for merchandise or services at participating retail stores only. They are not redeemable for cash or transferable and cannot be used for payment of credit or retailer accounts.
10. Gift Cards cannot be reloaded. Gift cards can be partially redeemable but cash will not be given for any unused balance. Unused balance on expiry of the Gift Cards will not be refunded or credited.
11. The total Prize value is $5,000.00. If the total cost of the items the winner purchases is greater than the balance on the individual gift cards, the Winner will need to use another form of payment to make up the difference. If the cost of the items purchased by the winner is less than the value of the Gift Card(s), the balance of the value of the Gift Card will not be awarded as cash.
12. The Gift Cards will expire within 12 months from the date of issue and must be redeemed before this expiry date. This date will be clearly written on the gift card. If the Gift Card is not redeemed within this time, all money on the Gift Card(s) will be forfeited.
How to Enter13.
To enter, Eligible Entrants must complete the following during the Competition Period:
a. log onto aerogardgrampout.com
(“Competition Website”);
b. register your Grampout at home and complete all of the required fields on the Competition entry page
c. agree to the Terms & Conditions and to being contacted by the Promoter in conjunction with this Competition.
14. Multiple Entries are permitted into the Prize Draw, subject to the following:
a. On completion of the entry form on the website Eligible Entrants will be prompted to “share” the Competition with friends on Facebook;
b. Eligible Entrant’s must click on the “share” button to share a unique link with their friends across social media;
c. If a friend of the Eligible Entrant’s then clicks on the link and subsequently enters, the original Eligible Entrant will be given another entry into the Competition. It is a condition that the friend must actually enter the Competition for the original Eligible Entrant to be permitted to enter more than once;
d. Electronic Direct Mail will also be sent to Eligible Entrants with the same message to prompt sharing15. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for:
a. Any late, lost or misdirected entries; or
b. Instances where Eligible Entrants are not entered into the Major Prize draw due to forces beyond the Promoter’s control.
16. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an Eligible Entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the Eligible Entrant.
Prize Draw & Winner Notification
17. The Prize draw will take place after the end of the Competition Period, on 3 March 2014. The winner will be drawn and announced at 12:00PM AEDT 3rd March 2014 at Handling Matters, 1/3 Green Street, Brookvale, NSW 2100 (Prize Draw)
18. The Prize will be awarded to the winner, which will be the person named on the application form (completed in accordance with clause 13) (Winner).
19. The Winner of the Prize Draw will be notified in writing via email within two (2) business days of the draw and his or her name will be published in The Australian within two (2) weeks of confirmation of the Winner.
20. The Prize will be delivered via courier, to one address, being the address specified on the application form by the Winner, within 14 days of confirmation and verification of the Winner.
21. The Promoter reserves the right to redraw the prize in the event of an Eligible Entrant being unable to satisfy these Terms & Conditions or forfeiting.
General Conditions
22. The Promoter’s decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries or other communications. Entries will be deemed void if illegitimate, forged, manipulated or tampered with in any way.
23. In the event that the Prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter may substitute a prize of equal or greater value, unless to do so would be prohibited by law.
24. The Promoter reserves the right to request verification of age, identity, residential address of the Winner and any other information relevant to entry into or participation in this Competition. Verification is at the discretion of the Promoter, whose decision is final. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who is involved in any way in interfering or tampering with the conduct of this Competition.
25. Nothing in these terms and conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify any statutory consumer guarantees or any implied condition or warranty the exclusion of which from these terms and conditions would contravene any statute or cause any part of these terms and conditions to be void (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Subject to the limitations in the preceding sentence, the Promoter excludes from these terms and conditions all conditions, warranties and terms implied by statute, general law or custom. Except for liability in relation to a Non Excludable Guarantee, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability whether arising in tort (including without limitation negligence), contract or otherwise for any personal injury or any other loss or damage (including without limitation loss of opportunity or loss of profits) whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Competition, including, without limitation, the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry, or Prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in Prize value to that stated in these terms and conditions; (e) any tax implications; and/or (f) the Prize or use of the Prize.
26. The Promoter collects personal information for the purpose of conducting this Competition (which may include disclosure to third parties, including Major Prize suppliers) and for promotional purposes. Entry is conditional on providing this information. By entering this promotion entrants consent to the use of their information as described and agree that the Promoter may use this information, or disclose it to other organisations that may use it, in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference or payment to the entrant, including sending the Eligible Entrant electronic messages. Entrants may access, change and/or update their personal information and obtain a copy of the Promoter’s privacy policy by emailing the Promoter on
inquiry@rb.com or by phone on 1800 022 046 during office hours. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
27. Should an Eligible Entrant’s contact details change during the Competition Period, it is the Eligible Entrant’s responsibility to notify the Promoter. A request to access or modify any information provided in an entry should be directed to Promoter.
28. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, or any combination thereof, (including but not limited to) any injury or damage to participants or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in or down-loading any materials in this competition.
29. It is a condition of accepting the Prize that the Winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
30. In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the Competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions, subject to any written directions given under State Regulation.
31. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
32. If for any reason whatsoever beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter this Competition is not capable of running as planned, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition, unless to do so would be prohibited by law.
33. In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster the Promoter reserves the right (subject to any written directions under applicable law) to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition.
34. The laws of New South Wales apply to this Competition to the exclusion of any other law. Entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
