Terms and Conditions
The Promoter is Greyhound Australia (ABN. 59 104 326 383) at 213 Holt St, Eagle Farm QLD 4009.
The officers, management and employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and its related bodies corporate and any agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible.
The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry.
The Promotion commences on 1st September 2013 at 00:01 AEST. Competition closes 28th February 2014 at 23.59 AEST.
Competition will be drawn by random selection at 11.00am AEST at 213 Holt St, Eagle Farm QLD 2013 on Thursday 13 March, 2014.
Anyone who buys a Green Dollar with their Greyhound Australia Express Ticket or Pass purchase is automatically entered into the draw to win the major prize.
The prize is: Return flights for one (1) person, from the winner’s closest Australian capital city to Bangkok Thailand, 2 nights accommodation in Bangkok, and a day trip with Cleaner Climate to visit one of their working projects.
Total prize pool worth approx. $3,000. Prizes are not to be used in conjunction with any other promotion and are not redeemable for cash. Winner will be notified by phone or email. If the winner has not provided these details to Greyhound Australia, the prize will be re-drawn.
Any addition costs associated with the prize trip, including but not limited to; travel insurance, additional accommodation, tours, transport costs, passport and visa fees, meals, etc are the sole responsibility of the prize winner.
The promoter takes no responsibility for the safety of the prize winner. All travel is at the risk of the winner. Any injuries, illnesses, death or otherwise is the sole responsibility of the prize winner and is highly recommended the winner take out comprehensive travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances.
Prizes can be collected from a Greyhound Travel Centre or posted to an Australian address only. Overseas addresses will not be accepted. Form of delivery will be arranged between Greyhound Australia head office and the winner independently.
Travel is valid 1st April 2014 to 31st March 2015. If the prize is not redeemed in this time, the prize is forfeited.
If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned (including but not limited to) infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and, subject to any written directions given by the various Lottery Departments, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition.
The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, or any combination thereof, (including but not limited to) any injury or damage to participants or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation in or down-loading any materials in this competition. Any costs associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant's responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used. Any contact details entered incorrectly on the website shall be deemed invalid.
In the case of intervention of any outside agent or event which naturally changes the result or prevents or hinders its determination, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest or strikes, the Promoter may cancel the promotion and recommence it from the start on the same conditions subject to any written direction from the various lottery departments.
Eligible Entrants enter and participate in the promotion at their own risk. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained, as a result of taking the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to allow a winner to take part in any or all aspects of the prize, if the Promoter determines, in their absolute discretion, that a winner is not in the mental or physical condition necessary to be able to safely participate in the prize.
The Promoter collects entrants' personal information in order to conduct the promotion. If the information requested is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the promotion. By entering the promotion, unless otherwise advised, each entrant also agrees that the Promoter may use this information, in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference, payment or other compensation to the entrant, including sending the entrant electronic messages. Entrants' personal information may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments and winners' names published as required under the relevant lottery legislation. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the Promoter at their address set out above.
The Promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of age, identity and residency prior to awarding the prize. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. In the event that the winner cannot provide suitable proof, the winner will forfeit their prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.
The Promoter reserves the right to conduct security verification checks at their absolute discretion. Prize winner may be required to sign a declaration confirming their eligibility to accept the prize.
