Relive the films that shaped your childhood!

Palace Cinemas are excited to announce the details of their new program of FLASHBACK FILMS, a specially curated selection of much loved classic family films, perfect for all ages.

From the peak of the Disney renaissance period of the 90’s, beloved Simba returns to our screens to open the program in THE LION KING (1994); still the highest grossing hand-animated feature film ever made.

Studio compatriots THE LITTLE MERMAID (1989), ALADDIN (1992) and the original 1951 telling of ALICE IN WONDERLAND join the fun alongside Kermit and his adventures in New York with THE MUPPETS TAKE MANHATTAN (1984) and our favourite eccentric bunch THE ADDAMS FAMILY (1991).

Roald Dahl classic MATILDA (1996) provides inspiration for mischievous girls all over, and if that’s not enough those little mogwais in GREMLINS (1984) can lend a hand.  “Tomorrow tomorrow” we’ll love ANNIE (1982) and back by popular demand everybody’s favourite twisted fairy-tale THE PRINCESS BRIDE (1987) will close season two with encore screenings on 19th & 20th April.
