PAINT PLACE COMPETITION –Colour In Your Style (Easter 2014 Campaign)
Conditions of entry
1. Information on how to enter forms part of these terms and conditions of entry. Participation in this
promotion is deemed acceptance of these conditions of entry.
2. Entry is open to all residents of Australia aged 18 years and over.
3. Those persons ineligible to enter shall be employees, their immediate families and associated entities
of the promoter or persons and entities associated with the promoter in the conduct of the business
known generally as The Paint Place Group.
4. Online entry only.
5. To enter, go to facebook.com/paintplace.colour, complete an entry form and tell us in 25 words or less
why one of our four seasonal scheme fits in with your personal style.
6. Incomplete entries will be deemed ineligible and will be discarded.
7. This is a game of skill; chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry will be individually
judged based on literary and creative merit. The judges decision on eligibility to enter and quality of
entry is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The prize is not transferable nor exchangeable
and cannot be taken as cash.
8. The promotion starts Tuesday 1 April 2014 at 9.00am AEST and concludes Tuesday 29 April 2014 at 4:59
AEST. Winners will be drawn at 5.00pm AEST on the following dates Tuesday 8 April 2014, Tuesday 15
April 2014, Tuesday 22 April 2014, Tuesday 29 April 2014.
9. The promotion will be judged by a panel of judges.
10. There is a total four x $500 Paint Place gift vouchers to be won during the promotional period. The prize
consists of one of four $500 Paint Place gift vouchers.
11. A total of four winners will be selected from the entries received during each of the draw periods.
Draws will take place at 5.00pm AEST on the following dates Tuesday 8 April 2014, Tuesday 15 April 2014,
Tuesday 22 April 2014, Tuesday 29 April 2014. . All judging will take place at Paint Place Group of Stores
Pty Ltd ACN 011 026 458, 6/31 Acanthus Street, Darra Q 4076.
12. Participants may submit one entry only.
13. The winners will be announced by 5pm AEST on Thursday 10 April 2014, Thursday 17 April 2014, Thursday
24 April 2014 and Thursday 1 May 2014.
14. The winners will be notified by email using the contact details provided in their entry. 15. The winners names will be published on
www.facebook.com/paintplace.colour and at
www.paintplace.
com.au
16. Prize details: After the closing date the best entry as deemed by the judges will win the services of a
colour consultant & New Look paint to the total value of $500. Details of potential painting contractors
will be provided to the winner by their local Paint Place store. The winner will be responsible for
accepting or declining any quotation and contracting directly with any painting contractor. Paint Place
Group Office will pay for both the colour consultant and New Look paint. The difference between
that amount and the prize value of $500 will be paid direct to the winner in part or full payment of
the painting contractors tax invoice. Payment to any painting contractor of any amount in excess of
$500 will be the responsibility of the winner. All costs associated with redeeming this prize are the
responsibility of the winners. The total prize pool per prize is $500.
17. The promoter reserves the right to request the winners to provide proof of identity to their local Paint
Place store upon collection of prize. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion
of the promoter.
18. The promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected entries or for any prizes
damaged in transit.
19. The promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage, personal injury or death whatsoever howsoever
caused, that is suffered (including, but not limited to, direct, indirect or consequential losses) or for
personal injury that is suffered or sustained by the winners of a prize or any other person or otherwise
suffered or sustained in connection with participating in this competition, as a result of taking or making
use of any prize, or any act or omission (whether negligent or not) of the promoter or any person
associated with any of them, except for any liability which cannot be exclud-ed by law. It is a condition
of accepting the prize that the winners may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by
the promoter in its absolute discretion.
20. All entries become the property of the promoter. All entrants acknowledge by accepting these terms
and conditions and entering into the competition that they assign all intellectual property rights
attaching to their entry to the promoter to be used by the promoter as they shall choose in any
promotion, advertising or other material to be produced by the promoter and they do acknowledge that
they shall have no further claim to any licence or other fee for the use of any intellectual property rights
then claimed by the entrant to the contents of their entry.
21. The winner does indemnify the promoter for any loss it may suffer of whatsoever kind should it be
established that the winner has breached the copyright of any other entity and any claim is made as
against the promoter by the lawful copyright owner.
22. The collection, use and disclosure of personal information provided in connection with this competition
is governed by the privacy notice.
