The Deep Oceans exhibition is on now at the Queensland Museum Southbank and it will take you beneath the surface of the sea to explore the cold, mysterious depths of the ocean.
The exhibition includes a 6.75 metre giant squid, sperm whale ambergris, some of the world’s first dive helmets, and a replica of the first submersible ever to plumb the ocean’s secret depths.
The Queensland Museum and Sciencentre is open daily from 9:30am to 5pm except Good Friday and Anzac Day. Deep Oceans is on until the 6 October, tickets cost $12 and are available through

The competition is open to all permanent residents of Australia, aged 18 and over. The prize is not transferable to another person or another performance.
The prize cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash.

All requested information must be supplied at the time of entry or the entry will be automatically disqualified.
Winners will be chosen at random from the entries received by the closing date. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Winners will be notified by the most appropriate means available to the publisher.
