Terms and Conditions of Entry
1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions of Entry. Acceptance of a Prize is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. The Promoter: The Promoter is Australian Leisure & Hospitality Group Ltd, 16-20 Claremont St, South Yarra 3141, ACN 37 067 391 511, owner / operator of the venues listed below. („Participating Venues‟).

3. Duration of Promotion: The Promotion commences at 09:00 am (AEST) on 11 May 2014 and closes at 11:59 pm (AEST) on 11 May 2014 („Promotional Period‟).
4. Eligibility for Entry: Entry may only be made in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. The Promotion is open to any Australian resident aged 18 years and over.
5. Employees or an immediate family member of an employee (including spouse, parents sibling or child), or has been employed in the last six months at the Participating Venue, or by Australian Leisure and Hospitality Group Limited may not enter.
6. Playing a gaming machine or participating in a loyalty scheme that requires either expenditure on gaming machines or agreement to receive gaming machine advertising, does not enable you to enter or participate in this promotion.
7. Entry Mechanism: An Eligible Entrant („Entrant‟) receives an Entry Form when, during the Promotional Period, they: (a) visit a Participating Venue; and (b) make any purchase from the bistro menu. („Eligible Entry‟)
8. It is the responsibility of the customer to obtain an Entry Form if or when they become entitled to do so. The customer may be requested to provide evidence of their purchase. If the customer is unable to do so, they may not be entitled to claim an Entry Form. A maximum of one (1) Entry Form may be collected per purchase.
9. To enter the Prize Draw, entrants must fully and legibly complete their name, address and phone number on their Entry Form and place it in the specially marked entry box located in the Participating Venue.
10. Prize Draw: The Prize Draw will take place at the office of the Promoter at 11am on 26 May 2014.
11. Prize: The first valid entry drawn will win two (2) return adult tickets for air travel in Economy from Melbourne to London with all relevant taxes, five (5) nights twin share accommodation in a standard room at a three (3) star property in London, a five (5) day London Oyster Card (transport pass), two (2) adult tickets to the 2015 Chelsea Flower Show and A$500 spending money.
12. Airfares are subject to availability at the time of booking and are valid for outbound travel on 26 May 2015 and return travel on 31 May 2015.
13. Spending money will be credited to a travel card and will be subject to the terms and conditions of use provided with that card.
14. Ticket for air travel constitutes a contract of carriage, allowing carriage on a flight or series of flights, and its terms are governed by a) the Terms & Conditions of the ticket, b) the Conditions of Carriage c) applicable Tariffs, and d) its Regulations. Conditions of Carriage are available from will be provided with the ticket.
15. Prize does not include airport/hotel transfers, travel insurance, excess luggage, private touring, food, beverages, taxes or other charges levied by any third party and/or any other ancillary charges and are the responsibility of the Prize Winner.
16. Prize value: Total value of the Prize is $8,000.
17. Prize is not exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
18. Notification to winner: The prize-winner will be notified by phone and in writing no later than 30th May 2014 and published in the Herald Sun newspaper on 2 June 2014.
19. Substitution of prize: Subject to any written direction from the Victorian Commission for Gambling Regulation, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel or change the prizes offered under the Promotion, due to circumstances beyond the Promoter‟s reasonable control, or if there are any changes to the law that would or might render the Promotion or any prizes offered under the Promotion unlawful. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize (or any part of it) for a similar prize (or part of the prize) of equal or greater value should the stated prize not be available at the time of prize distribution.
20. Unclaimed Prize Draw: If the prize winner cannot be contacted by telephone and in writing by 12 August 2014 then they will be deemed to have forfeited their entitlement to the prize. In these circumstances, a redraw will be held at 11am on 15 August 2014 at the office of the Promoter. The Promoter reserves the right to redraw the prize in the event that a winner is not able to satisfy these Terms and Conditions, or forfeits or fails to accept their prize. The winner (if any) of the redraw will be notified by phone and in writing no later than 29 August 2014 and published in the Herald Sun newspaper on 1 September 2014.
21. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize for a similar product of equal or greater value should the Prize be unavailable for any reason at the time of the draw or prize distribution.
22. Valid Entry Form: Entry Forms are void if stolen, forged, mutilated, photocopied or tampered with in any way. Only original Entry Forms will be accepted. Any entry not complying with these Terms and Conditions will be deemed invalid and a further entry or entries will be drawn until a valid entry is drawn. In the event of a dispute concerning the conduct of the Promotion, the decision of the Promoter is final. Any printing error(s) and other quality control matters will not be used as a reason for refusing payment of prizes.
23. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entry which, in the opinion of Promoter, includes objectionable content, profanity, potentially insulting, inflammatory or defamatory statements, disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms & Conditions of Entry or who has,
in the opinion of Promoter, engaged in conduct in entering the competition which is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the competition and/or Promoter. This includes, but not limited, to entrants and households using multiple, email addresses, street addresses or PO Box addresses to register single or multiple entries. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify a winner if the Promoter becomes aware that the winner and/or the winner‟s entry is of a type described in this clause.
24. The Promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity, proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address in order to claim a prize. Proof of identification, residency and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. In the event that a winner cannot provide suitable proof, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.
25. Privacy: Personal information contained on the Entry Forms will be used for the purpose of determining and contacting a prize winner. By submitting an Entry into the Promotion, entrants consent to the collection of their personal information for the purpose of being part of this Promotion. If requested by the entrant, in the manner provided for on the Entry Form, personal details will be used by the Promoter for future promotional, direct mail marketing and advertising purposes unless and until such request is otherwise withdrawn in writing. The Promoter complies with the Australian National Privacy Principles. You can gain access to the personal information held by the Promoter by phoning or writing to the Promoter.
26. Release: The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury whatsoever suffered or sustained, including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss, as a result of taking a prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
27. It is recommended that the Prize Winner takes out international travel insurance and consults the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade website
www.smarttraveller.gov.au for travel advice and to ensure that they possess all necessary documentation well in advance of travel.
28. In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter‟s ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions, subject to any written directions given under State Regulation.
29. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the competition. The Promoter‟s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
