Fair Go Finance Pty Ltd ACN 134 369 574 “Watch and Win” Competition Terms and Conditions
1. The promoter of this competition is Fair Go Finance Pty Ltd (ABN 18 134 369 574) of 4B Mandurah Terrace, Mandurah, Western Australia, 6210. Phone number 1300 324 746.
2. The competition is open to Australian residents aged 18 and over. An entrant must be an individual and not a company or organisation. 3. Entry is free.
4. To enter this competition, entrants must visit Fair Go Finance’s Facebook page or website during the promotional period, watch the video entitled “Why Budget?” then submit by writing, in 25 words or less, a response to “Why is it important to Budget?” and complete all required personal details. You must submit your answer by e-mail to media@fairgofinance.com.au and share the competition post. Any entries not including all required information will be disqualified.
5. Each entry must be entered in accordance with these terms and conditions. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these terms and conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
6. Multiple entries are permitted.
7. “Promotional period” means the period commencing at 8.00am A.E.S.T, Tuesday the 8th April 2014 and closing at 18.00pm A.E.S.T, Tuesday 29th April 2014.
8. Any entry received after 18.00pm A.E.S.T, Tuesday 29th April 2014 will be deemed invalid. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost, delayed or misdirected entries.
9. The winner will be decided by Paul Walshe at the premises of Fair Go Finance Pty Ltd, 4B Mandurah Terrace, Mandurah, Western Australia, 6210, on Friday, 2nd May 2014 after the competition ends.
10. Paul Walshe’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
11. This competition is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner.
12. All entries will be judged individually on their merits based on accuracy.
13. The prize consists of one Westfield Shopping Centre Voucher to the value of $200. All costs to post this prize to the winner’s Australian address will be paid for by Fair Go Finance Pty Ltd. 14. The winner of the prize will be contacted via the e-mail address they used to submit their entry on Friday 2nd May 2014. The winner will also be announced on the Fair Go Finance Facebook page and Fair Go Finance website.
15. Fair Go Finance Pty Ltd will try to contact the winner by e-mail on two separate occasions.
16. The winner agrees to allow us to display their first name, and the name of their town on our Facebook page and website (
www.fairgofinance.net.au) to inform other entrants of the winner.
17. The prize is not transferable or exchangeable for cash.
18. Prior to the prize being posted, the winner will be asked to verify their age and full name to confirm they are the legitimately drawn entrant by providing a driver’s licence or other legal documentation within 28 days of being notified. They will also be asked to provide a testimonial message to be published on the Fair Go Finance Facebook page and website (
www.fairgofinance.net.au.)
19. Unless the entrant states otherwise, entering the competition gives
www.fairgofinance.net.au permission to use the entrant’s details in future marketing activities and communications.
20. Non-compliance to these terms and conditions or notification returned as “undeliverable as addressed” will result in a redraw being completed within 14 days of being selected or a winning entrant forfeits or does not claim a prize then Fair Go Finance Pty Ltd reserves the right to select the next best response.
21. This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook and entrants are providing information to Fair Go Finance Pty Ltd and not Facebook.
22. By entering the competition you consent to Fair Go Finance Pty Ltd reproducing and publishing in whole or part throughout the world your statement which you provided to us on the entry form which we may use in all media formats including print, electronic or any other publishing medium, without any fee being paid to you.
23. If there is any event that prevents or hinders Fair Go Finance Pty Ltd.’s conduct of the Competition or the ability to deliver the prize/s to the prize winner/s of the Competition, Fair Go Finance Pty Ltd may, in its discretion, cancel the Competition and recommence it at another time under the same conditions or select another winner.
24. Fair Go Finance Pty Ltd is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, or for any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in this Competition, or for any technical error that may occur in the course of the administration of this Competition. Fair Go Finance Pty Ltd assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.
25. To the full extent permitted by the law, Fair Go Finance Pty Ltd will not be liable for any injury, damages, expenses, or loss whatsoever (whether direct or consequential) to persons or property as a result of any person entering into the Competition or accepting or using any prize, including without limitation non-receipt of any prize or damage to any prize in transit.
