How do I enter the promotion?

To enter the promotion you must complete the following steps during the Promotional Period:
 - Go online and visit www.timtam50.com.au
 - Follow the prompts to enter the promotion;
 - Fill out your details in the entry form;
 - Nominate, when prompted, the name of the person you plan to visit and share your Tim Tam biscuits with;
 - Select your nearest capital city as your city of departure;
 - Select a destination in Australia or the world, which will determine which prize you would like to win, either a Domestic Prize, or a Global Prize;
 - Provide a reason why you would like to visit your nominated person; and
 - Submit the fully completed online entry form.

Terms and Conditions
Information on how to enter and the prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Entry is only open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over. Employees (and their immediate family) of the Promoter, participating retailers and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or first cousin.

This promotion commences at 9.00am AEDST on 28/02/2014 and final entries close at 11.59pm AEST on 15/05/2014 (the “Promotional Period”).
To be eligible to enter, individuals must, during the Promotional Period, purchase, in a single transaction, any two (2) packets of Arnott’s Tim Tam Products from a participating store in Australia (“Qualifying Transaction”).
To enter, individuals must then, complete the following steps during the Promotional Period:

visit www.timtam50.com.au, and follow the prompts in order to input the requested details;
select a destination in Australia or the world (the list of potential prize locations for travel on Qantas direct operated flights are listed in Annexure A; prize travel to any other destination/s will require travel on QF marketed and or operated services either exclusively or partially on other codeshare carriers), which will determine which prize they wish to be eligible for, either a Domestic Prize, or a Global Prize (as outlined in more detail below);
nominate, when prompted, the name of the person they plan to visit and share their Tim Tams with, and why, in their selected destination;
include their nearest capital city as their city of departure; and
submit the fully completed online entry form.
At the time of entry, if an entrant selects a destination from the map of Australia, their entry will be entered into the subsequent Domestic Prize draw. If an entrant selects an international destination from the world map, their entry will be entered into the subsequent Global Prize draw.
The Promoter reserves the right to publish the name of each entrant as well as their nominated destination and details of who they plan to visit at that destination (and why). Entrants must ensure that they only nominate individuals who agree to have their name published on the promotional website.
There will be a total of forty (40) Domestic Prizes and ten (10) Global Prizes awarded for this promotion. The Domestic Prize draws and Global Prize draws are to be held on the following specified dates:

There will be total of fifty (50) draws conducted for this promotion. Entries for each draw close at 11:59pm AEDST/AEST (as applicable in NSW) on the day prior to the relevant draw. This excludes the draw conducted on a Monday, where entries will open on Friday and close on Sunday, based on Sydney local time. Each draw will take place at The Zoo Republic, 9 Harris Street, Pyrmont NSW 2009 at 2:00pm AEDST/AEST (as applicable in NSW) with the first draw taking place on 10/03/2014 and the last draw taking place on 16/05/2014. For the removal of doubt, no draws will be conducted during the weekend. Non-winning entries in each draw will be entered into subsequent draw(s) (based on the draw type). The winners will be notified in writing and by telephone within two (2) business days of the relevant draw and their names will be published at www.timtam50.com.au every Monday at 3pm AEDST/AEST (as applicable in NSW), beginning 17/03/2014. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
GLOBAL PRIZES
The first valid entry drawn, for each draw awarding a Global Prize (10 in total), will each win a trip for two (2) adults to the destination nominated at time of entry, valued at up to AU$7,900, depending on date and point of departure and destination chosen. Each Global Prize includes:

two (2) × return economy airfares from winner's nearest capital city to the destination elected by the winner, valued at up to AU$6,000;
Four (4) × nights twin share four (4) star accommodation, valued at up to AU$1,700; and
One (1) × suitcase of Tim Tam products, which includes one hard case suitcase and twenty (20) x packets of Arnott’s Original Chocolate Tim Tam 200g valued at AU$200.
Global Prizes are subject to availability and may be dependent on the prize supplier or specific room category availability with accommodation partner. Global Prizes must be booked within 6 months of the draw date and taken within 12 months of the draw date. All prize travel is restricted to flights that can be booked with a QF flight number. Each winner, and their companion, must be in possession of a valid passport with a minimum of six (6) months validity prior to departure date. Any amendment fees or charges incurred as a result of any changes to the flights, once confirmed and ticketed are the responsibility of the winners. Visas, valid passports, spending money, meals, taxes (excluding airline and airport taxes), vaccinations, transport to and from departure point, transfers, items of a personal nature, excess baggage, in-room charges and all other ancillary costs are not included and any other ancillary costs, including but not limited to insurance and any applicable insurance excesses, are the responsibility of the winners and each companion as incurred. It is each winner's responsibility to organise transport to/from the airport departure/return point. The Promoter strongly recommends that winners and their companions obtain travel insurance for their period of travel. The Promoter, in its absolute discretion, reserves the right to remove any of the travel destination options in the event that travel to such destination is deemed dangerous. Compliance with any health or other government requirements is the responsibility of each winner (and their companion). Prizes are subject to Qantas’ General Conditions of Carriage and the conditions of carriage of any other applicable airline.
DOMESTIC PRIZES
The first valid entry drawn, for each draw awarding a Domestic Prize (40 in total), will each win a trip for two (2) people to the destination nominated at time of entry, valued at up to AU$2,400, depending on date and point of departure. Each Domestic Prize includes:

two (2) × return economy airfares from winner's nearest capital city to the destination nominated at time of entry, valued at up to AU$1,500;
Two (2) × nights twin share four (4) star accommodation, valued at up to AU$700; and
One (1) × suitcase of Tim Tam products, which includes one hard case suitcase and twenty (20) x packets of Arnott’s Original Chocolate Tim Tam 200g valued at AU$200.
Domestic Prizes are subject to availability and may be dependent on the prize supplier or specific room category availability with accommodation partner. Domestic Prizes must be booked within 6 months of the draw date and travel taken within 12 months of the draw date. GENERAL
The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
Multiple entries are permitted, subject to the following: (a) only one (1) entry permitted per Qualifying Transaction; (b) each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with entry requirements; and (c) a maximum of one (1) entry per household per day is permitted;
Entrants must retain their original or a copy of their purchase receipt(s) for all entries as proof of purchase. Failure to produce the proof of purchase for all entries when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of ALL of an entrant’s entries and forfeiture of any right to a Prize.
If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
The winners and each companion must depart from and return to the same departure point and travel together. Itinerary to be determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
Frequent flyer points will not form part of a Prize. Prizes are subject to the standard terms and conditions of individual Prize and service providers. The winners may be required to present their credit card at time of accommodation check in.
If for any reason a winner does not take the Prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the Prize will be forfeited and will not be redeemable for cash.
If any Prize is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the Prize with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
Total Prize pool value is up to AU$175,000. Prizes, or any unused portion of a Prize, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise specified.
A draw for any unclaimed Prizes may take place on 16/08/2014 at the same time and place as the original draws, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority. Winners will be notified in writing by email and by telephone within two (2) business days of the draw and their names will be published at www.timtam50.com.au on 20/08/2014.
Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
As a condition of entering this promotion, each entrant licenses the Promoter to use their entry in any media for an unlimited period for any reason including but not limited to future promotional, marketing or publicity purposes. Each entrant warrants to the Promoter that each entry submitted is an original literary work of the entrant that does not infringe the rights of any third party. Entrants agree to indemnify the Promoter against all costs and claims by third parties arising from a breach of this warranty. Entrants consent to any use of their entry which may otherwise infringe their moral rights pursuant to the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth).
If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used by the entrant .
The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion.
Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter and/or prize suppliers (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising out of or in connection with this promotion, including but not limited to: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or Prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in Prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner, traveller or entrant; or (f) taking of a Prize.
As a condition of accepting a Prize, the winners (and each companion) must sign any legal documentation as and in the form required by the Promoter and/or Prize suppliers in their absolute discretion, including but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form.
As a condition of winning and taking a Prize, the winners may be required to take photographs and/or videos of their experience(s) (in accordance with the guidelines provided by the Promoter) while taking their Prize (“Materials”); and (b) provide the Materials to the Promoter when requested and license the Promoter, its affiliates and sub-licensees a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, and sub-licensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish and display such Materials for any purpose in any media, without compensation, restriction on use, attribution or liability. The winners warrant to the Promoter that the Materials provided are his/her original work and that the Materials do not infringe the rights of any third party. The winners agree to indemnify the Promoter against all costs and claims by third parties arising from a breach of this warranty. The winners consent to any use of the Materials which may otherwise infringe their moral rights pursuant to the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth).
The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such personal information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, Prize suppliers and, to Australian regulatory authorities, as required. Entry is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to opt out, access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
