1. The Takeoff or Take the cash promotion (“Promotion”) will commence at 12.01am on Saturday 5 July 2014 and conclude at the 9.00pm prize draw on Saturday 5 July, 2014 (“Promotion Period”). All times are listed in Australian Eastern Standard Time.
2. Prize draws will be held in The Club, level 2 at Treasury (“Draw Location”) during the Promotion Period. Prize Draws will be held at 3.00pm, 5.00pm, 7.00pm and 9.00pm (each a “Prize Draw”) on Saturday 5 July, 2014 (each a “Draw Day”) with one (1) winner at each Prize Draw.
3. Participation in the Promotion is open to all persons who:
(a) are 18 years of age or older;
(b) are members of the Absolute Rewards loyalty program operated by the Promoter and who have a current Pearl Tier or Higher Absolute Rewards Membership card (“Membership Card”);
(c) are entitled to access the Draw Location;
(d) are not the subject of an exclusion direction or self exclusion order pursuant to the Casino Control Act 1982 (Qld); and
(e) are not the subject of a Withdrawal of Licence (WOL) from Jupiters Hotel & Casino Gold Coast or Treasury Casino & Hotel Brisbane.
People who meet the above conditions and continue to satisfy the conditions during the Promotion Period are referred to as “Eligible Entrants” and will be entitled to participate in the Promotion.
4. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse any person entry in the Promotion at any time.
Entry into the Prize Draws
5. Eligible Entrants will be eligible for one (1) entry for every 1 Casino Dollar earned on compatible electronic gaming machine play during the following times (each an “Entry Period”):
a. 12.01am to 2.59pm to enter the 3.00pm, 5.00pm, 7.00pm and 9.00pm Prize Draws on that Draw Day;
b. 12.01am to 4.59pm to enter the 5.00pm, 7.00pm and 9.00pm Prize Draws on that Draw Day;
c. 12.01am to 6.59pm to enter the 7.00pm and 9.00pm Prize Draws on that Draw Day;
d. 12.01am to 8.59pm to enter the 9.00pm Prize Draw on that Draw Day.
6. Eligible Entrants who have earned entries will be automatically entered into the draw via the Konami Casino Management System. Eligible Entrants will need to remove their Absolute Rewards card prior to the end of each Entry Period in which those entries were earned to be eligible to enter those entries into the relevant Prize Draws. Only Casino Dollars earned through Electronic Gaming Machines (“EGM”) during the Entry Periods will be automatically converted to entries into the relevant
Prize Draw. Casino Dollars awarded as part of any other promotion or offer will not be included for the purposes of calculating entries for inclusion into any Prize Draw.
7. Each entry will be automatically entered and allocated a unique individual entry number using the Konami Casino Management System (“KCMS”).
Prize Draws
8. The Promoter will perform the draw with KCMS to randomly select winners from all entries in that Prize Draw.
9. At each Prize Draw, the name of the Eligible Entrant identified on the first (1st) correctly drawn and validly entered entry will be announced at the Draw Location (each a “Selected Member”). The Selected Member must be “present at the relevant Prize Draw” in accordance with Condition 10 to be eligible to win.
10. To be deemed “present at the relevant Prize Draw” and therefore eligible to claim a prize, the Selected Member must present themselves to a representative of the Promoter at the Draw Location or the Sovereign Room Desk, Level 2 within three (3) minutes of their name being announced and provide suitable identification in accordance with Condition 17 & 18 within five (5) minutes of presenting themselves. The Selected Member is not permitted to send a proxy to claim a prize. Selected Members that are “present at the Prize Draw” will be eligible to win a prize (each a “Present Winner”).
11. If a Selected Member does not satisfy Condition 10 or does not otherwise satisfy these Conditions of Entry, redraws will take place until a Selected Member who satisfies the requirements of these Conditions of Entry (including by being “present at the relevant Prize Draw”) is found.
12. The Promoter cannot guarantee that all announcements can be heard at the Draw Location or throughout the remainder of Treasury.
Prizes
13. At each Prize Draw each Present Winner will have the choice between $5,000 Flight Centre Travel Voucher or $5,000 cash (each a “Prize”).
14. Flight Centre Limited as part of their terms and conditions place a 12 month expiry on the Flight Centre Travel Voucher. Flight Centre Travel Voucher will expire July 2015.
15. Once the Flight Centre Travel Voucher has been selected it cannot be exchanged for alternate prizes or offers, is not transferable and may not be redeemed for cash.
Prize Pool
16. The total prize pool for this Promotion is $20,000 in cash & prizes (“Prize Pool”). Identification
17. A Selected Member must produce valid acceptable identification to a representative of the Promoter to confirm their eligibility to win a prize. Valid identification acceptable to the Promoter will be either one form of valid photographic identification (Passport or Australian driver’s licence) with an undamaged clearly visible photograph, or two other forms of non-photographic identification
acceptable to the Promoter. A Selected Member must also produce their Membership Card to confirm their eligibility to win a prize.
18. The Promoter reserves the right to waive or vary the identification requirements at its sole discretion in circumstances where the identity of a Selected Member is determinable by a representative of the Promoter without the assistance of these or any other form of identification.
General
19. Directors, management and employees of the Echo Entertainment Group of companies (including any related body corporate as defined in the Corporations Act 2001) and their immediate families are not eligible to participate in this Promotion. For the purposes of this clause, ‘immediate families’ of an employee means the person’s spouse and family members residing at the same premises as the employee. The Echo Entertainment Group comprises, but is not limited to the businesses of The Star, Jupiters Hotel and Casino, Treasury Casino and Hotel and Jupiters Townsville.
20. Prizes must be taken as stated and cannot be exchanged or redeemed for alternate prizes. Any tax liability or implication which attaches to a prize is the responsibility of the Winner claiming that Prize.
21. The Promoter is not responsible for any loss, damage or injury suffered or claimed (including, but not limited to, indirect or consequential loss or damage, personal injury or death, and direct or indirect loss or damage due to negligence or technical or mechanical malfunction) by an entrant in relation to entering or participating in this Promotion or taking or using the prizes offered (except that which cannot be excluded by law) except where that loss, damage or injury was caused by breach of these terms and conditions by the Promoter or the wilful or negligent acts or omissions of the Promoter. To avoid any doubt, the Promoter shall not be liable for loss caused by technical and mechanical malfunction which is outside the control of the Promoter.
22. Conduct of the entire Promotion, including decisions on the eligibility of persons to enter and validity of entry and prizes, shall be the responsibility of, and at the absolute discretion of, the Promoter.
23. To the extent that a situation or issue arises for which these terms and conditions make no provision or in relation to which the relevant terms and conditions are unclear, the Promoter reserves the right to make a decision regarding such situation or issue which is not inconsistent with these terms and conditions in its sole and absolute discretion.
24. While the Promoter intends to conduct the Promotion as offered, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel or change the Promotion or a prize offered in the Promotion if it can no longer continue the Promotion or offer a prize due to circumstances outside the Promoter’s control.
25. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late or non-received entries. The Promoter does not guarantee the continuous or fault-free operation of the entry processes, including entry validating and receipting processes, during the Promotion. In the event of any technical difficulties with the Kiosk, the Promoter reserves the right to adopt a manual process of generating Entries.
26. Any entrant who tampers, or attempts to tamper, with the entry processes or tampers, or attempts to tamper with the processes used for the draws or who submits an entry which is not valid in accordance with these terms will be subject to disqualification at the discretion of the Promoter.
27. Winners may be asked to participate in publicity or advertising at the request of the Promoter. Participation in any such publicity or advertising is at the sole discretion of the relevant Selected Members. The names of Selected Members will not be published without their consent except as announced at the Draw Location.
28. Participation in the Promotion indicates acceptance of the terms and conditions governing the Promotion. These terms and conditions will be available at the Absolute Rewards Service Desk Ground Floor and Sovereign Room Desk Level 2 throughout the Promotion Period.
29. By participating in this Promotion, each entrant’s Entry/Entries becomes the property of the Promoter and may be used for the Promoter’s business analysis and marketing purposes in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy statement which can be viewed at
http://www.treasurybrisbane.com.au. Privacy law allows entrants to access their personal information held by the Promoter in certain circumstances. Failure to supply the personal information requested may result in an entry being deemed invalid.
30. It is the responsibility of all winners to determine if they have won a Prize in this Promotion at the Absolute Rewards Desk or Sovereign Room Desk. Whilst Treasury will use all reasonable endeavours to contact Winners, it is the Winner’s ultimate responsibility to claim their prize.
