THE REJECT SHOP FOUNDATION COLOURING IN COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ENTRANTS

This competition ("Competition") is conducted by The Reject Shop Foundation ("Promoter") administered by CAF Community Fund, a public charitable foundation (ABN 32 089 603 314) on behalf of The Reject Shop (ABN 33 006 122 676) 245 Racecourse Rd, Kensington, VIC, 3031.
Entry to the Competition constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions. All entry instructions and prize information published by the Promoter form part of these Terms and Conditions.
Competition entry commences at 09.00 AEST on 12/06/2014 and closes at 17.00 AEST on 20/07/2014 ("Entry Period").
Except as otherwise indicated, all amounts stated in these conditions are stated in Australian dollars.
Competition will be promoted in various media in print and online which include but not limited to websites, posters, in-store, social media, television, radio and various other print and media.

1. WHO CAN ENTER
1.1 This competition is open to:
Pool A: Individuals who are residents of Australia and are of the age of ten (10) years or younger (with their parent or guardian consent). However, immediate family members of The Reject Shop are not eligible to enter.
Pool B:
1.2
Any costs, in association with participating in the competition, will be the responsibility of the
individual / primary school / kindergarten / day care centre / pre/after school centre.
Primary schools in Australia that are government schools or registered as non-
government schools, and registered kindergartens, day care centres and pre/after school
centres throughout Australia.
Primary schools in Australia that are government schools or registered as non-
government schools under the
Education Act in force in each State or Territory must submit
entries once completed by their student/s on behalf of their student/s, who are ten (10) years
of age or younger. To participate in this competition, the school principal/director or an
authorised representative must list their name and contact details for each submission.
1.3 Registered kindergartens, day care centres and pre/after school centres throughout
Australia must submit entries once completed by their student/s on behalf of their student/s,
who are ten (10) years of age or younger. To participate in this competition, the kindergartens
/ day care centres / pre/after school centres principal/director or an authorised representative
must list their name and contact details for each submission.

2. OBTAINING AN ENTRY COLOURING-IN SHEET
The Reject Shop Foundation reserves the right to request proof of the authorised
representative identity at any point in time and may remove the submission/submissions from
the competition until this information is satisfactorily provided.
2.1 Entry colouring-in sheets can be obtained during the Entry Period.
2.1.1 Any of The Reject Shop stores located throughout Australia. Please visit
www.rejectshop.com.au to view your nearest store.
2.1.2 Online at www.rejectshopfoundation.org.au.
2.2 Internet connection and usage rates may apply. Eligible participants should obtain details of such costs from their service providers.
3. ENTRY
3.1 To enter, you must complete entry colouring-in sheets as per instructions on that sheet including completing competition question. Entrants must obtain the consent of their parent or guardian to take part in this competition for Pool A entries. Entries will be judged based on creativity. This competition is a game of skill in which chance plays no part.
3.2 Entries must be submitted to your local The Reject Shop store during the Entry Period and in accordance to clause 1 (one) and 2 (two). Entries received outside of this Entry Period and do not adhere to these terms and conditions will be deemed invalid and not entered into the competition.
3.3 Only one entry per person is allowed for Pool A and one total entry per registered primary schools, kindergartens, day care centres and pre/after school centres (which consist of multiple entries from its members/students in their entry set) will be allowed and permitted.
3.4 The Promoter takes no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, illegible or misdirected entries or for any delays or failures in any telecommunications service or equipment.
3.5 The Promoter may, at its absolute discretion, declare any or all entries made by an entrant invalid if the entrant tampers with the entry process, benefits from such tampering or submits an entry that is illegible, incomplete or not in accordance with these terms and conditions. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion.
3.6 Entries may be displayed for customer viewing once the winners have been announced, but not limited to viewing, online at www.rejectshopfoundation.com.au or in store at any of The Reject Shop stores.
4. PRIZES
4.1 Total prize Pool from A and B is $9,625 (inclusive of GST)
4.2 Pool A: Twenty five (25) prize winners will receive one (1) in twenty five (25) Samsung Galaxy Tab3 Lite 8GB WiFi 7” White valued at $185 (incl. GST) each. Total prize Pool A valued at $4,625 (incl. GST).
4.2.1 Prizes are not exchangeable or transferrable and cannot be taken as cash. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize value.
4.2.2 If a winner, for whatsoever reason, is not able to take an element of the prize, the prize is forfeited. Cash will not be awarded in lieu of the prize or element thereof.
2.1.3 Any other form of communication The Reject Shop Foundation wishes to utilise
to advertise this promotion, including but not limited to www.rejectshop.com.au.
4.2.3 If the prize or any part of the prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoters control, the Promoters will endeavor to provide a suitable prize of equivalent value and nature.
4.2.4 The prizes from Pool A will be awarded to the entrant’s parent or guardian. 4.3 Pool B:
Registered primary schools, kindergartens, day care centres and pre/after school
centres: 1 x prize of $5,000 cash will be allocated to the major prize winner of Pool B (any
registered primary school, kindergarten, day care centre and pre/after school centre) with the
money allocated towards purchases of the following items for the institution or centre:
materials, arts and crafts, sporting equipment and technology. Total
$5,000 (incl. GST).

4.3.1 The Reject Shop does not bear any responsibility or liability to the purchases with the $5,000 cash prize. All enquiries including faults and warranty for products purchased should be referred to the retailer/company where the goods were purchased.
4.3.2 The Reject Shop may require the
winner of Pool B to participate in a scheduled photo shoot after 60 days of the delivery of cash prize to show the prize
has been spent on reading materials, arts and crafts, sporting equipment and technology for the school/institution. Release forms will be required to be signed by the parent or guardian of all participants under the age of 18 years of age.
4.3.3 If a winner, for whatsoever reason, is not able to take an element of the prize, the prize may be forfeited.
4.3.4 If the prize or any part of the prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoters control, the Promoter will endeavor to provide a suitable prize of equivalent value and nature.
4.4 This competition will be judged on Wednesday 30th July 2014 at The Reject Shop - 245 Racecourse Rd, Kensington, VIC, 3031 by the Promoter. Prize winners will be notified by phone and/or email of their Prize within two (2) days of the draw. Winners of Pool A will be required to organise with the Promoter, once they have been notified of their win, to the nomination of one of The Reject Shop stores to pick up their prize. Pool B winners will be required to nominate a bank account and supply their banking details where the $5,000 will be transferred.
4.5 Should an entrant’s contact details change during the Promotional Period, it is the entrant's responsibility to notify the Promoter. A request to access or modify any information provided in an entry should be directed to the Promoter.
4.6 Prize winners are also asked to submit photography illustrating use of the winning prize within fourteen (14) days of the prize being awarded for winners of clause 4.2 Pool A and sixty (60) days of the prize being awarded for winners of clause 4.3 Pool B at the conclusion of the promotion. These photos with the inclusion of a signed release form from the parent or guardian can be dropped into their local store, sent to The Reject Shop - 245 Racecourse Rd, Kensington, VIC, 3031 or emailed including scanned signed release form document to promotions@rejectshop.com.au. Release forms can be obtained by nominating an email address or postal address for the form to be sent to. A pre-paid postage envelope would be included for return if posting photos to above address. Please refer to clause 6 for privacy consent.
4.7 The first name, initial, State of residence and/or primary school / kindergarten / day care centre / pre/after school centre name may be announced on one or more, but not limited to, the following communication tools, www.rejectshop.com.au and www.facebook.com/rejectshop for a minimum period of one (1) week unless an unclaimed prize judging is required.

4.8 Any prizes that are not claimed by 14th August 2014 will be put in an unclaimed prize judging. If necessary, the Promoter will conduct the unclaimed prize judging at The Reject Shop, 245 Racecourse Rd, Kensington VIC 3031 on the 15th August 2014 in order to distribute any prizes that remain unclaimed by that date.
4.9 The Promoter’s decision in relation to any aspects of the competition is final and the Promoter will not enter into any correspondence regarding the results.
4.10 Unless expressly stated in these terms and conditions all other expenses (including installation costs, travel to and from collection point etc.) become the responsibility of the prize winner.
4.11 Once prizes have left the Promoter’s premises, the Promoter takes no responsibility for prizes damaged, delayed or lost in transit.
5. GENERAL
5.1 If for any reason the conduct or operation of the Competition is interfered with or disrupted in any way (including by vandalism, power failures, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes, computer bugs or viruses, tampering or technical failures), the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend or recommence the Competition.
5.2 The Promoter assumes no responsibility for: (i) any error, omission, interruption, or delay in the operation or transmission of any communication sent to (or by) the Promoter or any entrant whether caused by problems with communication networks or lines, computer systems, software or internet service providers, congestion on any carrier network or otherwise, (ii) any theft, destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of such communications; (iii) any problem with, or technical malfunction of, any computer system or other equipment used for the conduct of the Competition; (iv) any incorrect or incomplete information which may be communicated in the course of the administering this Competition (whether as a result of one of the foregoing causes or otherwise); (v) any delay in delivery, or failure of safe delivery of the Prize.
5.3 The prize winner accepts the Prize at his/her own risk. To the full extent permitted by law, the Promoter, its associated companies and agencies and any of their personnel (the "Relevant Parties") exclude all liability for any loss (including any damage, claim, injury, cost or expense) which is suffered or incurred by any entrant in connection with the Competition or Prize, including without limitation: (i) any indirect, economic or consequential loss; (ii) any loss arising from the negligence of a Relevant Party; (iii) any liability for personal injury or death. The Promoter may request that the Prize winner sign and return a deed of release to this effect as a condition of the Prize being awarded. If the Prize winner fails to sign and return such release, the Prize winner may forfeit the Prize.
5.4 Each prize winner consents by entering the Competition that the Promoter may use their name, likeness, image and/or voice (including any photograph, film and/or recording of them) in any media at any time or times without compensation, financial or otherwise, for the purpose of promoting this Competition or recognition of this Competition, promoting the Promoter and/or any of the Promoter's products. A signed released from the parent or guardian of the winners will be required for the agreement of this clause.
