Terms & Conditions – Porters Father’s Day Car Giveaway competition
Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions of entry.
The promotion is only open to customers who point of sale purchase in person from Porters stores; Building Supplies, Plumbing Supplies, Glass & Aluminium, Truss & Frame, Mackay City, Northern Beaches and Whitsunday stores.
By making a purchase, customers will receive 1 entry into the draw.
Customers must complete all details on the entry form printed at the bottom of their point of sale docket or A5 entry form.
It is the customer’s responsibility to place the entry form into branded entry boxes at Porters counters or present to Porters sales staff.
Entry is open to all Australian residents except employees and their immediate families of all Porters divisions and its suppliers and agents associated with the promotion.
Commencement date is 1st April 2014 and entries close at 12pm on 6th September 2014. A draw will take place at 1pm on 6th September 2014 at the Porters Hardware and Lifestyle store, Corner Brisbane and Gordon Streets, Mackay QLD 4740. Customers need to be present at either Porters Mackay City, Northern Beaches or Whitsunday stores to win. The winner will be announced at 1pm on 6th September 2014 over the public announcement system in the three stores. Once the winner is announced over the PA system, they will have 2 minutes to claim the prize. The first valid entry drawn will win the major prize. In the case the prize is not claimed within 2 minutes, a new winner will be drawn.
15 entries maximum will be drawn from the barrel. If after 15 draws, a valid winner is not drawn, the next draw (ie the 16th) draw will be the winner. For the 16th draw only; the winner does not have to be present at any Porters store to claim the prize.
Identification will be requested to verify winner. Only one person is eligible to win the prize. Porters will arrange for the winner to collect the prize from Carlisle Motors, 30-40 Gregory Street, Mackay QLD 4740 on an agreed date. Winner agrees to be photographed and published in a variety of marketing materials for Porters.
If for any reason the prize is unavailable, the promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with a similar prize of equal value, subject to State legislation. Total major prize valued up to $17,995.
