Terms and Conditions of entry for Tait – Win a Luxe Nano table and Volley Rocker setting.
Information on how to enter and the prize forms part of these conditions of entry. Entry into the competition is deemed acceptance of the terms and conditions.
The Promoter is Tait Enterprises PTY Ltd of 176 Johnston Street, Fitzroy, VIC 3065 Phone 03 9419 7484.
Employees of Tait and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.
This promotion is run through a recognised Facebook application.
The competition is open to Australian residents aged 18 years and over who live in the following Australian states and territories: NSW, QLD, ACT, VIC, NT, WA, TAS and SA.
Entry:
To be eligible to win, contestants must enter through the contest app on Facebook. Participants can enter once only during the life of the competition. The competition opens at 12:00am Friday 8th August 2014 and closes at 11.55pm Friday 5th September 2014. Times referred to in these conditions are all Australian Eastern Standard Times. Entries must be submitted by 11.55pm Friday 5th September 2014 (AEST).
Tait reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions or who tampers with the entry process.
The draw will take place at 10 am on Monday 8th September 2014 at Tait of 176 Johnston Street, Fitzroy, VIC 3065 Phone 03 9419 7484. The winner is drawn at random from all valid competition entries received. No correspondence will be entered into. This competition is a game of chance and skill plays no part in determining the winner.
The winner will be contacted on Monday 8th September 2014 through notification by phone and/or email.
The winner agrees to have their name and state of residence announced on Tait’s Facebook page on Monday 8th September 2014.
If within 5 days of the draw the promoter is unable to make contact with the winner to claim the prize via the contact details provided in their entry, that winner will forfeit the prize in its entirety. The Promoter is not liable for a winner who cannot be contacted.
The Promoter may conduct such further draws at the original draw location (176 Johnston Street, Fitzroy, VIC 3065) on Monday 15th September 2014 in order to distribute the prize unclaimed by that date.
The winner will be contacted by phone and/or email within 24 hours of the prize draw (Tuesday 9th September or Tuesday 17th September 2014 – pending the need for a second draw).
Entrant’s details may be disclosed to State Lottery Departments and the winner’s name published on Tait’s Facebook Page on Tuesday 9th September or Tuesday 17th September 2014 – pending the need for a second draw
If for any reason the competition is not capable of running as planned (including but not limited to) technical failures, unauthorised intervention, fraud or any other causes beyond our control which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, we are entitled in our sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and (subject to any written directions given by the various Lotteries Departments), to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition.
Tait is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, incomprehensible or incorrect entries in the competition.
We also accept no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from prize winnings in the competition. You should seek independent financial advice about such matters.
Should an entrant’s contact details change during the promotional period, it is the entrant’s responsibility to notify Tait.
Tait is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, caused by you or for any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in the competition, or for any technical error, or any combination thereof that may occur in the course of the administration of the competition including any omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line or telephone, mobile or satellite network failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.
In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency, disaster or (without limitation) any other event outside our reasonable control, we are entitled to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition – subject to any written directions from the various regulatory bodies responsible for supervising the conduct of the competition (the Lotteries Departments).
Prize:
There is one (1) prize to be awarded nationwide. This prize is a Tait Volley Rocker. Copper plated with Dark brown leather cushion and trims. Walnut stained timber rails with Danish Oil. (indoor use only) valued at $1900 and a Nano table 750 dia x 300h. Copper plated frame with Carrara marble top, honed finish. (indoor use only) valued at $2100. This prize will be awarded to one (1) winner.
Tait will arrange delivery only to Australian metro cities. If the delivery address for the prize is not within the metro areas of cities the winner must cover the transport/delivery cost for their prize.
The winner must take the prize as offered. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and the prize supplier’s requirements.
The prize is non-refundable (i.e. not redeemable for cash) and not transferable or exchangeable.
The winner releases Tait from any and all causes of action, losses, liability, damage, expense (including legal expenses), cost or charge suffered, sustained or in any way incurred by the winner as a result of any loss or damage to any physical property of the winner, or any injury to or death of any person arising out of, or related to, or in any way connected with the Promoter or the prize.
The prize will be available for delivery from Tuesday 17th September 2014. The winner must arrange delivery (book a delivery date) with Tait within 8 weeks of the winner being contacted. If the delivery is not arranged by the winner by this time, the prize will expire and be made void after this date. The prize remains the property of the Promoter until claimed by the prize winner.
By participating in the competition you are agreeing to provide your information to Tait to contact you about future promotions and marketing information. Tait will not use or send the information submitted to another party.
Entry and continued participation in the competition is dependent on entrants following and acting in accordance with the Facebook Statement of Rights and Responsibilities, which can be viewed at

This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. Entrants understand that they are providing their information to Tait and not to Facebook. The information an entrant provides will only be used for the purposes outlined in these Terms and Conditions. Any questions, comments or complaints about this competition must be directed to Tait and not to Facebook. Facebook will not be liable for any loss or damage or personal injury which is suffered or sustained by an entrant, as a result of participating in the competition (including taking/use of a prize), except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
