We’re delighted to be bringing back the Fitness First New You Achievement Awards in 2014.
The awards celebrate the incredible fitness achievements and motivational stories of our members. And everyone has a story right? – So what’s yours? We’d love to hear about it.
There are five categories in total, including the ‘New Member Transformation' Category added to the mix this year.
Have you overcome injury, made a difference to your appearance, or improved your sports training? If so, The Fitness First New You Achievement Awards are here to recognise your efforts and reward you for all of your hard work.
Just choose the category you would like to enter - Health, Strength, Sport, Shape or New Member Transformation and tell us your inspirational story. Entries are open now - tell us your story!
All finalists will be flown to Sydney to get glammed up for the New You Awards Night where their stories will be shared and each category winner will receive $5,000 in cash. Winners will have a one in five chance to win the major prize of $30,000, taking the grand total to a whopping $35,000.
Terms and conditions of entry:
Must be a current and active Fitness First member. All achievements must be achieved in the past 18 months before entries open in July 2014 and without the use of surgery and/or drugs. Must be 18 years and over to enter. Only one entry per person. Fitness First has the ability to change the category you have entered under if deem fit. No Fitness First staff members can enter. Waiver form must be agreed when submitting your New You Achievement Awards application otherwise entry will be invalid.
Entries will open in July 2014 to submit your online New You Achievement Awards application. For your application to be submitted you will need to consent for all purposes to:
1. The reproduction and/or use of photographs of me (with or without the use of my name)
2. The use of self- written personal statements submitted by application form for use in marketing materials.
3. The use of photographs of me (with or without the use of my name) by any nominee or designee of Fitness First (including any agency, client, or periodical or other publication) in all forms and media and in all manners, including but not limited to advertising, website, social media, trade, display, editorial, art, exhibition for unlimited and worldwide use.
Understand that publication and reproduction of the photographs, video material and personal statements is within the sole discretion of Fitness First, that they may not be used at all and you waive any right to inspect or approve the material.
You release Fitness First from liability for any violation of any personal or proprietary right you may have in connection with such reproduction or use.
You also release and discharge Fitness First from any and all claims and demands arising out of or in connection with the use of the photographs, video material and personal statements, including without limitation any and all claims for libel or violation of any right or publicity or privacy.
