1.The Promoter is Wotif.com Pty Ltd ABN 81 092 257 504, 7 Baroona Rd, Milton, QLD, 4064. The permit numbers for this promotion are NSW: LTPS/14/05690, VIC: 14/4705, ACT: TP 14/02499, SA: T14/1322, issued on 18/07/2014; 23/07/2014; 24/07/2014; 12/08/2014.
2.Information regarding prizes and how to enter forms part of these conditions. Entry into the promotion constitutes acceptance of these conditions.
3.Entry to the promotion is free (excluding internet charges) and is only open to Australian and New Zealand residents who are 18 years or over. Directors, officers, management, employees (and their immediate families) of Promoter, or the organisations associated with this promotion, and their related entities are ineligible to enter.
4.The promotion commences at 12pm AEST, Monday 18 August 2014 and closes at 12pm AEST, Monday 8th September 2014 (the “Promotional Period”).
5.To enter the draw, participants must during the Promotional Period go to
www.wotifia.com, follow the prompts to register their details including first name, surname, date of birth, email address, state, postcode and telephone number.
6.Only one entry via the method set out in clause 5 will be accepted per entrant. Entrants who enter using multiple aliases/email addresses may be disqualified. Automated entry software or spamming that allows an entrant to enter multiple times is prohibited and all entries submitted by that entrant will be deemed invalid.
7.Entrants will also be given the opportunity to forward the promotion to their friends through the ‘Share with friends’ functionality via email, Facebook, Twitter and Google+ with their friend’s express consent. Each forward to a friend completed via the promotion website will provide the entrant with one extra entry into prize draw.
8.Entrants will be given a further opportunity to gain an extra entry into the prize draw by ‘liking’ the Wotif.com Facebook page, Twitter page, Google+ page or Instagram account during the Promotional Period. If the entrant is already a fan of these pages, they will not be able to gain an extra entry via this function. Entrants will receive one extra entry per social channel.
9.All valid entries will go into a random manual draw, which will take place at 2pm AEST, Monday 8 September 2014 at Wotif.com Pty Ltd; 173-185 Sussex Street, Sydney NSW 2000. The first valid entry drawn will win:
1.One (1) x Wotif.com travel voucher to the value of AU$50,000, whereby up to (and restricted to) AU$30,000 of the Wotif.com travel voucher value must be spent on a maximum of four (4) flights within the Etihad Airways network available on Wotif.com (subject to availability and blackout dates) The remainder of the Wotif travel voucher may be used on any flights, packages or accommodation options available on the Wotif.com site (subject to availability and blackout periods) (Prize voucher).
If the winner chooses to use the Prize voucher on international travel products such as international flights or accommodation available on Wotif.com, the total cost must not exceed the AUD Prize voucher value.
10.If the Promoter, after making all reasonable attempts to contact a winner, is unable to contact the winner or a prize is not accepted or claimed by 10am AEDST, Tuesday 9 December 2014, the relevant winner’s entry will be deemed invalid and an unclaimed random prize draw will take place at 10.01am AEDST, Tuesday, 9 December 2014 at Wotif.com Pty Ltd; 173-185 Sussex Street, Sydney NSW 2000. The new winner will be notified by email and phone on the day of the draw.
11.The winner redeems the Prize voucher by contacting the relevant Wotif.com Customer Service representative via email:
flights@wotif.com or phone on (02) 8016 4148. All bookings are subject to availability at the time of the booking, blackout periods and any terms and conditions imposed by the relevant travel product providers.
12.The winner may choose to list up to seven (7) companions per booking when redeeming the Prize voucher. No more than seven (7) companions will be accepted upon redemption of the Prize voucher.
13.The Prize voucher is valid for twenty-four (24) months from the date of issue and must be redeemed in a maximum of ten (10) transactions. All prizes must be booked by Monday 12 September 2016. If the prize is unclaimed and a new winner must be drawn, the Prize voucher must be redeemed by Monday 6 February 2017.
14.Any additional costs incurred by the winner (or their companion/s), other than those that expressly form part of the Prize voucher, are the responsibility of the winner, including all transfers, other transport, luggage costs, accommodation, meals or beverages, passports, Visas, health and travel insurance, vaccinations or other medical or health related services, spending money, and any incidental, non room-only charges, including but not limited to, room service, telephone calls and internet usage or other ancillary costs. Travel insurance is advisable. The winner (and their companion/s) are responsible for ensuring that they have all necessary travel insurance.
15.The Prize voucher is non-transferable, non-refundable, non-exchangeable, non-replaceable and non-redeemable for cash. The Prize voucher cannot be used to purchase gift certificates or lay-buys, nor can they be re-sold. The Prize voucher Prizes must be taken as offered. No modifications or exchanges will be possible. The value of the Prize voucher must cover Wotif.com’s booking fees and charges, and flight taxes. We cannot guarantee that any particular product will be available at the time the recipient would like to use their Prize voucher. The price and availability of all the hotels listed on our site are subject to change. If the value of the Prize voucher is less than the price of the hotel the recipient will need to cover the difference. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value, performance or availability of the Prize Voucher. If the Prize voucher or any element of a the Prize voucher is unavailable for any reason, the Promoter may substitute for that prize or element of that prize another item of equal or higher value as determined by the Promoter subject to the approval of all relevant lottery departments in each state and territory if required.
16.Once the Prize voucher travel has been arranged by the Promoter, changes to the travel, accommodation and other prize arrangements must be made by, and are at the expense of the winner. The Promoter is not responsible for the cancellation, delay or rescheduling of any part of the Prize voucher a travel prize and any costs incurred by the winner or companion as a result (including accommodation costs) will be the responsibility of the winner. The winner is responsible for ensuring that they and their companion/s are fit to travel. Any alterations or extensions to confirmed prize details must be approved in advance by the Promoter (at its sole discretion) and will be at the expense of the winner.
17.The maximum total value of the prize pool is valued up to AU$50,000.
18.The winner will be notified by email and phone on the day of the draw. The winner’s details will also be published at

19.In the instance that there is an unclaimed prize draw, the new winner’s details will be published at

20.The Promoter expressly reserves the right to resolve any discrepancies, disputes or otherwise unforeseen circumstances as it deems fit subject to state regulation and the Promoter's decision will be final and binding upon every person who enters. No correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter expressly reserves the right to change or alter these Terms and Conditions at any time subject to the approval of all relevant lottery departments if required.
21.The Promoter accepts no responsibility for incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, misdirected or illegible submissions.
22.The Promoter may require entrants to verify their identity and age. Failure to provide this to the Promoter’s satisfaction will result in all of the entrant’s entries being invalid.
23.Entries must only be submitted in accordance with these conditions and will not be accepted in any other form. Computer generated or other automated entries will not be accepted.
24.Visas, passports and all entry, exit, health or other documents required by law, regulations, orders, demands or requirements of the countries visited or transited are the responsibility of the winner (and the companion/s). The prize winner (and companion/s) must possess a valid passport and be eligible to travel to the prize destination both at the time of booking and also at the time of travel.
25.The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies shall not be liable for any loss (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this promotion or accepting or using any prizes, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
26.The Promoter shall not be responsible for any entries that are not received or are otherwise interfered with due to problems with the Internet or telecommunications services.
27.The Promoter’s decisions in connection with this Promotion are final and correspondence will not be entered into.
28.As a condition of participating in the Prize voucher, the winner’s companion/s accept/s these conditions.
29.Entrants acknowledge that there are inherent risks in some aspects of the promotion or the prize. By entering this promotion and/or accepting the Prize voucher, entrants accept that risk for themselves and for their companion/s.
30.The Promoter may at its sole discretion declare any or all entries made by an entrant invalid and prohibit further participation by an entrant in the promotion if the entrant:1.Fails to verify their personal details and/or eligibility to enter the promotion to the Promoter’s satisfaction;
2.Submits an entry which, in the Promoter’s opinion, is not in accordance with these conditions; or
3.Engages in conduct in entering the promotion which in the Promoter’s opinion is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the promotion or Promoter.
31.If this promotion is not capable of running as planned due to any reason, including unauthorised intervention, fraud, or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to any applicable law) in its sole discretion to cancel the promotion subject to any written direction from a regulatory authority or to disqualify any individual who has tampered with the entry process or who has acted in violation of these conditions.
