RACHEL ‘PONY GOLD’ URQUHART
Meet Volcom’s newest edition to the Volcom Women’s Ambassador Program, Rachel ‘Pony Gold’ Urquhart, a Melbourne-based, self-taught artist and illustrator who grew up in a rural-coastal paradise on the mid-north coast of NSW. Her artwork is inspired by a childhood fossicking for bushland treasures and is heavily influenced by the natural world as one of the last frontiers of magic, beauty, ritual and justice. Adding to the nature vibe, she likes to work in a heady mix of references to bad tattoos, regrettable hair, metal albums and cheap whiskey.
