Decorated police detective Malcolm Toohey (Joel Edgerton, who also penned the screenplay) is out celebrating a successful drug bust with his colleagues, and when driving home is involved in an accident that leaves a little boy fighting for his life. When questioned, he gives voice to the lie that tightens around him as tensions and deceptions escalate. While one cop tries to uncover the truth, another does his best to hide it.

Directed by Matthew Saville (Noise) and co-starring Tom Wilkinson, Jai Courtney and Melissa George, this taut thriller abounds with moral complexities and gripping suspense.

For your chance to win a double pass to Felony, simply let us know your favourite Australian film to take place in the law enforcement world, and why it tops the list. Email filmink@filmink.com.au with your answer. Please include your name and address.

Closes Sept 3.
