Independent theatre company Slip of the Tongue and the Seymour Centre will present Michael Gow’s 1987 comedy, Europe, from 10 to 27 September as part of the Seymour’s Reginald Season 2014. Directed by James Beach, Europe will star Pippa Grandison as Barbara and Andrew Henry as Douglas the show is something not to be missed.
When Douglas meets Barbara, a European actress touring Australia, he is stung by the romance of their fling - like the heroes of the oldest love stories. He pursues her by flying to Europe in a 10,000-mile leap of faith, but Barbara is wary of this naïve Australian fan-boy and she has love problems of her own.
