1. The $7,000 Boarding Pass Draw promotion (“Promotion”) will be held at Treasury commencing at 11:00 on Friday, 3 October 2014 and concluding at the end of the final prize draw at 15:00 on Friday, 31 October 2014 (“Promotional Period”). All times are listed in Australian Eastern Standard Time.
2. Fifteen (15) prize draws will be held on the Main Gaming Floor, level 1 at Treasury (“Draw Location”) during the Promotion Period. Prize Draws will be held at 13:00, 14:00 and 15:00 (each a “Prize Draw”) on Friday, 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31 October 2014 (each a “Draw Day”) with one (1) winner drawn at each Prize Draw.
3. Participation in the Promotion is open to all persons who:
(a) are 18 years of age or older;
(b) are members of the Absolute Rewards loyalty program operated by the Promoter and who have a current Red and Red+ Absolute Rewards Membership card (“Membership Card”);
(c) are entitled to access the Draw Location;
(d) are not the subject of an exclusion direction or self-exclusion order pursuant to the Casino Control Act 1982 (Qld); and
(e) are not the subject of a Withdrawal of Licence (WOL) from Jupiters Hotel & Casino Gold Coast or Treasury Casino & Hotel Brisbane.
People who meet the above conditions and continue to satisfy the conditions during the Promotion Period are referred to as “Eligible Member/s” and will be entitled to participate in the Promotion.
4. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse any person entry in the Promotion at any time.
Entries in a Prize Draw
5. To generate an entry in a Prize Draw (“Prize Draw Entry”) on a Draw Day an Eligible Member must swipe his or her current Membership Card at one of the Promotions Kiosks at the Draw Location to receive a Prize Draw Entry. This Prize Draw Entry must be placed into the Promotion barrel located at the Draw Location. Prize Draw Entries will only be included in the relevant Prize Draw when the Prize Draw Entry is earned as below:
a. From 11:00 to 12:59 to enter the 13:00, 14:00 and 15:00 Prize Draws on that Draw Day.
b. From 11:00 to 13:59 to enter the 14:00 and 15:00 Prize Draws on that Draw Day.
c. From 11:00 to 14:59 to enter the 15:00 Prize Draw on that Draw Day.
6. Eligible Members are eligible to earn a maximum of one (1) Prize Draw Entry per Draw Day.
7. Once a Prize Draw Entry has been drawn from the Promotion barrel, the Prize Draw Entry will be returned for the remaining Prize Draw/s on a Draw Day.
8. The Promotion barrel will be emptied after the 15:00 Prize Draw on each Draw Day.
Prize Draws
9. At each Prize Draw, the name and membership number of one (1) Eligible Member whose Prize Draw Entry is randomly drawn from the Promotion barrel by a representative of the
announced at the Draw Location and throughout Treasury. The Selected Member must be “present at the Prize Draw” pursuant to Condition 11.
10. The Promoter cannot guarantee that announcements can be heard in all parts of the Draw Location or throughout the remainder of Treasury.
11. To be deemed “present at the Prize Draw”, the Selected Member must present themselves to a Treasury representative at the Draw Location, Absolute Rewards Desk or the VIP Services Desk Level 2, within three (3) minutes of their name being announced and provide suitable identification in accordance with Conditions 16 or 17. The Selected Member then has five (5) minutes to present him/herself to the Promoter at the Draw Location. Selected Members are not permitted to send a proxy to claim a Prize. Selected Members that are “present at the Prize Draw” will be eligible to win a Prize (each a “Winner”). There will be one (1) Winner at each Prize Draw.
12. If a Selected Member does not satisfy Condition 11 or does not otherwise satisfy these Conditions of Entry, re-draws will take place immediately at the Draw Location. If after three (3) re-draws a Selected Member who satisfies Condition 11 and these Conditions of Entry is not found the prize will be awarded to the Selected Member drawn first at the Prize Draw and that Selected Member will not be required to satisfy Condition 11 (“Default Winner”). The Default Winner will be notified of their win by phone or mail in accordance with their membership details held by the Promoter. The Default Winner will be required to collect their prize from the Absolute Rewards Desk Level 1 at Treasury and provide identification in accordance with Conditions 16 or 17 at the time of collection. If the Default Winner does not claim the prize within one (1) month of being notified, the prize will be forfeited.
Prizes
13. Each Selected Member will be subject to compliance with these conditions of entry, will be eligible to win:
a. 13:00 - $150 Casino Dollars
b. 14:00 - $250 Casino Dollars
c. 15:00 - $1,000 Cash
each a (“Prize”) Prize Pool
14. The total prize pool for this Promotion is $7,000 Cash and Casino Dollars (“Prize Pool”).
15. Casino Dollars will be loaded after 15:00 on the Draw Day.
Identification
16. A Selected Member must produce valid acceptable identification to a representative of the Promoter to confirm their eligibility to win a prize. Valid identification acceptable to the Promoter will be either one form of valid photographic identification (Passport or Australian driver’s licence) with an undamaged clearly visible photograph, or two other forms of non- photographic identification acceptable to the Promoter. A Selected Member must also produce their Membership Card to confirm their eligibility to win a prize.
17. The Promoter reserves the right to waive or vary the identification requirements at its sole discretion in circumstances where the identity of a Selected Member is determinable by a representative of the Promoter without the assistance of these or any other form of identification.
General
18. Directors, management and employees of the Echo Entertainment Group of companies (including any related body corporate as defined in the Corporations Act 2001) and their
immediate families are not eligible to participate in this Promotion. For the purposes of this clause, ‘immediate families’ of an employee means the person’s spouse and family members residing at the same premises as the employee. The Echo Entertainment Group comprises, but is not limited to the businesses of The Star, Jupiters Hotel and Casino, Treasury Casino and Hotel and Jupiters Townsville.
19. Prizes must be taken as stated and cannot be exchanged or redeemed for alternate prizes. Any tax liability or implication which attaches to a prize is the responsibility of the Winner claiming that Prize.
20. The Promoter is not responsible for any loss, damage or injury suffered or claimed (including, but not limited to, indirect or consequential loss or damage, personal injury or death, and direct or indirect loss or damage due to negligence or technical or mechanical malfunction) by an entrant in relation to entering or participating in this Promotion or taking or using the prizes offered (except that which cannot be excluded by law) except where that loss, damage or injury was caused by breach of these terms and conditions by the Promoter or the wilful or negligent acts or omissions of the Promoter. To avoid any doubt, the Promoter shall not be liable for loss caused by technical and mechanical malfunction which is outside the control of the Promoter.
21. Conduct of the entire Promotion, including decisions on the eligibility of persons to enter and validity of entry and prizes, shall be the responsibility of, and at the absolute discretion of, the Promoter.
22. To the extent that a situation or issue arises for which these terms and conditions make no provision or in relation to which the relevant terms and conditions are unclear, the Promoter reserves the right to make a decision regarding such situation or issue which is not inconsistent with these terms and conditions in its sole and absolute discretion.
23. While the Promoter intends to conduct the Promotion as offered, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel or change the Promotion or a prize offered in the Promotion if it can no longer continue the Promotion or offer a prize due to circumstances outside the Promoter’s control.
24. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late or non-received entries. The Promoter does not guarantee the continuous or fault-free operation of the entry processes, including entry validating and receipting processes, during the Promotion. In the event of any technical difficulties with the Kiosk, the Promoter reserves the right to adopt a manual process of generating Entries.
25. Any entrant who tampers, or attempts to tamper, with the entry processes or tampers, or attempts to tamper with the processes used for the draws or who submits an entry which is not valid in accordance with these terms will be subject to disqualification at the discretion of the Promoter.
26. Winners may be asked to participate in publicity or advertising at the request of the Promoter. Participation in any such publicity or advertising is at the sole discretion of the relevant Selected Members. The names of Selected Members will not be published without their consent except as announced at the Draw Location.
27. Participation in the Promotion indicates acceptance of the terms and conditions governing the Promotion. These terms and conditions will be available at the Absolute Rewards Desk Ground Floor and the VIP Desk Level 2 throughout the Promotion Period.
28. By participating in this Promotion, each entrant’s Entry/Entries becomes the property of the Promoter and may be used for the Promoter’s business analysis and marketing purposes in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy statement which can be viewed at
http://www.treasurybrisbane.com.au. Privacy law allows entrants to access their personal information held by the Promoter in certain circumstances. Failure to supply the personal information requested may result in an entry being deemed invalid.
29. It is the responsibility of all winners to determine if they have won a Prize in this Promotion at the Absolute Rewards Desk or the VIP Desk. Whilst Treasury will use all reasonable endeavours to contact Winners, it is the Winner’s ultimate responsibility to claim their prize.
