TICKETS are now available for the Tomaree Musical Theatre Company's uplifting new show, Breast Wishes.
Five shows will be held across two weekends at Nelson Bay Bowling Club, scheduled for 2pm or 7.30pm between Friday, October 11 and Sunday, October 19.
Breast Wishes follows the journey of a family and the events that have shaped their breasts. Lyn, played by the theatre company's Laura Taylor, is an earth mother with voluptuous breasts and is married to David, portrayed by Gavin Potter.
Lyn's sister Carol, Kellie Mycock, is flat chested, highly strung and in the midst of a mid-life crisis.
Cousin Sal, Michelle Lawrence, is young, sexy and self-absorbed.
Mother Helen, played by director Jen Rossi, has embraced all things new-age and Irene, the wise quintessential bra fitter, is to be played by two women, Michelle Hallam and Inga Weber.
Competitions held across the two weeks of production will raise funds for the Hunter's breast screen bus.
The cost to enter the bra decorating competition is $5.
Anyone looking to enter the competition must take a pre-decorated bra to a show, which will go on display and be judged by theatre company patrons Trish Monaghan and Gwen Smith.
Tickets, available by phoning 0468 898 073, cost $25 for adults, $20 for concessions or groups of 10 or more, and $15 for children aged 15 years and under.
The Examiner has one double pass to give away to the October 11 show starting at 7.30pm.
To win, send your name and contact details in an email titled "Breasts" to
