‘SUNRISE PRESENTS MILEY CYRUS AT THE SYDNEY OPERA HOUSE’ PROMOTION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By entering the ‘Sunrise presents Miley Cyrus at the Sydney Opera House’ promotion, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:
1. STANDARD TERMS
1.1 Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry.
2. WHO CAN ENTER?
2.1 Subject to clause 2.2, entry is open to all residents of Australia where the Channel Seven and affiliate broadcasting signals are received.
2.2 Employees and their immediate families of Seven Network (Operations) Limited, Mnet Mobile Pty Ltd and their associated agencies and companies are not eligible to enter.
3. HOW TO ENTER
3.1 The competition commences on Monday 29 September at 6.00am (AEST) and concludes on Monday 6 October 2014 at 9.00am (AEDT) (“the Competition Period”).
3.2 In order to enter, viewers must watch Sunrise (“the Program”) on the Seven Network during the Competition Period. Each day during the Competition Period there will be a competition segment aired during the Program, in which viewers will be invited to log onto the Sunrise website (
www.yahoo7.com.au/sunrise) and register their full name, postcode, age, e-mail address and an Australian mobile telephone number.
3.3 Entries must be received by Monday 6 October 2014 at 9.00am (AEDT).
3.4 Entries are limited to one entry per person per Australian mobile phone number.
3.5 Entry details remain the property of the Promoter and will not be returned to the entrant. The winners agree to grant the Promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use their entries in all media worldwide and the winners will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
4. PRIZES
4.1 There will be a total of 500 winners of the Promotion who will receive the following prize:
2 x tickets to see Miley Cyrus perform at the Sydney Opera House on Monday 13 October 2014, valued at $5 each.

4.2 The winner and their companion are responsible for all expenses including flights (if necessary), spending money, vaccinations, in-room charges, taxes, meals (unless specified), drinks, transfers (unless specified), laundry charges, activities (unless specified), incidentals, gratuities, services charges, items of a personal nature, passports, visas, and all other ancillary costs. Unless expressly stated in these terms and conditions all other related expenses become the responsibility of the winner.
4.3 The Seven Network reserves the right to reschedule, withdraw or substitute artists and / or vary advertised performance, venue and audience capacity. We reserve the right not to replace tickets in such circumstances.
4.4 If a ticket is sold or used in breach of this condition, the ticket may be cancelled and the bearer of the ticket may be refused admission.
4.5 This ticket has no official resale value and may not be authentic if purchased from a third party. Tickets may not be resold, offered for resale, used for advertising, promoting or other commercial purposes without the written consent of The Seven Network.
4.6 It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and prize Sponsor’s requirements. Prizes cannot be transferred or exchanged and all non- cash prizes cannot be redeemed for cash.

4.8 It is requirement that children under the age of 13 are accompanied by a responsible adult who are also carrying a valid ticket. The child and their companion must arrive at the venue at the same time.
4.9 All components of the Prize are subject to availability and may not be available during school holidays, holiday weekends or special events. In the event that any component of a Prize is unavailable for any reason, subject to State legislation, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute that Prize component with another prize of equal value and the Prize Winner will be notified accordingly.
4.10 In participating in the prizes, the winners agree to participate and co-operate as required in all editorial activities relating to the Competition, including but not limited to being interviewed and photographed. The winners grant the promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use such footage and photographs in all media worldwide and the winners will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
4.11 The winners agree that they will not and will ensure that their companions do not sell or otherwise make available their story and/or photographs to any media or other organisation.
4.12 If any prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize of equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
4.13 It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winners must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and the prize supplier’s requirements.

5. HOW TO WIN
5.1 There will be 500 winners of the Competition. Each entrant who has entered the Competition over the Competition Period and registered all details in accordance with clause 3 (“Qualifying Entrant”) will be entered into the draw.
5.1 The draw will take place at Mnet Mobile Pty Ltd, Level 1, 16 Anster Street, Adelaide SA 5000 on Monday 6 October 2014 at 12.00pm (AEDT).
5.3 The winners may be announced in the Programs following the prize draw (subject to programming and Executive Producer’s decision). Winners will be notified by SMS by Monday 6 October 2014 at 4pm (AEDT) and provided with a unique code.
5.4 Winners will be invited to visit a nominated website and claim their entry tickets by entering their unique code.
5.5 Winners must claim their tickets between Monday 6 October 2014 from 4.00pm (AEDT) and Wednesday 8 October 2014 at 12.00pm (AEDT). In the event that winners do not claim and validate their tickets by Wednesday 8 October 2014 at 12.00pm (AEDT) their two tickets will be forfeited and included in an unclaimed prize draw.
5.6 This event is general admission only on a first come basis. Entry gates open from 5.30am (AEDT).
5.8 As a condition of entry we reserve the right to conduct a search of a person and/or their possessions when entering. No glass, alcohol or other sharp objects will be permitted.
5.9 The Promoter’s decision is final and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the result.
5.10 It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winners may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the promoters in its absolute discretion.
5.11 Subject to State legislation an unclaimed prize draw will take place at Mnet Mobile Pty Ltd at Level 1, 16 Anster Street, Adelaide SA 5000 on Wednesday 8 October at 12.30pm (AEDT).
5.12 Entry may be refused if tickets are damaged or defaced in any way.
5.13 The Seven Network reserves the right to refuse entry to any person.
5.14 Each ticket has a unique barcode and allows one entry only. If you have multiple tickets please ensure you print each ticket separately. Do not give a copy of your ticket to anyone. If multiple copies of a ticket exist only the first copy to be scanned at the event will be allowed entry. Any additional entry attempts will be denied.
5.15 For additional security the mobile number of the ticket holder has been embedded into the ticket and may be used to validate any ticket we deem a copy.
5.16 It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winners must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and prize supplier’s requirements.
6. NO LIABILITY
6.1 The Seven Network (Operations) Ltd & affiliates, Mnet Mobile Pty Ltd, and their associated agencies and companies associated with this promotion, will take no responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit, or late, lost or misdirected mail.
6.2 The Seven Network (Operations) Ltd & affiliates, Mnet Mobile Pty Ltd and their associated employees, agencies and companies associated with this promotion will not be liable for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss or claim, damages, costs and expenses suffered, sustained or incurred (including but not limited to indirect or consequential) as a result of, or arising out of, or in any way connected with this promotion and/or its prizes that may occur:
(a) during the draw;
(b) in the participation in any prize;
(c) asaconsequenceoflate,lostormisdirectedmail;
(d) due to the broadcast of any program relating to the competition or the publication of any material, including any statements made by any compere, staff member, journalist, other entrants or any other person;
(e) in relation to failure of an SMS entry message to be received by the promoter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion;
(f) arising from or related to any problem or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines or mobile communications network related to or resulting from participation in this promotion; or
(g) due to circumstances outside the promoter’s reasonable control.

6.4 Seven Network (Operations) Ltd & affiliates, Mnet Mobile Pty Ltd and their associated agencies and companies associated with this promotion assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available, subject to State Regulation.
6.5 Subject to State Regulation, if for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, due to causes including but not limited to tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition.
