Terms and Conditions
By entering the Gold Coast Marine Expo competition (“the Competition”), you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:
1) Information on how to enter forms part of the terms and conditions. Entry into this Competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions of entry.
WHO CAN ENTER?
2) The Competition is open to residents of Australia aged 18 years or over, except employees of the Promoter and their immediate families and all companies and agencies associated with this Competition.
HOW TO ENTER
3) The Competition commences on Monday 29th September 2014 at 05:30 AEST and concludes on Friday 3rd October 2014 at 16:00 AEST (“the Competition Period”).
4) To enter viewers must email their answer in 25 words or less to the Competition question ‘Why would you like to win the amazing prize?’ to
todaycompetitions@nine.com.au. Entrants must also supply their full name, address, and daytime contact number for their entry to be valid.
AND the entry must not be, without limitation:
a) late;
b) delayed;
c) incomplete;
d) incomprehensible;
e) unlawful;
f) obscene;
g) defamatory;
h) discriminatory;
i) libellous;
j) threatening;
k) pornographic;
l) harassing;
m) hateful;
n) racially or ethnically offensive;
o) capable of encouraging of conduct that would be considered a criminal offence; p) capable of violating any law;

5) Entries must be received within the Competition Period.
6) All entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt by the Promoter and NOT at the time of transmission by the entrant.

12) Winner and four (4) guests must be 18 years or over and provide proof of age identification to the Promoter for verification.
13) Cruise must be taken in November 2014 at a time and date determined by the prize supplier and communicated to the winner with reasonable notice. If winner is unable to fulfill prize during this time period, winner forfeits the prize package with no compensation or further liability of the promoter. Cash will not be awarded in lieu of the prize.
14) If the winner is from Brisbane or Sunshine Coast area, the flights component of the prize will not be included, and winner and companions will be responsible for travel (including any costs of travel) to Gold Coast Marina.
15) The prize values are correct as at the date of printing. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for change in prize value between now and the ultimate date on which the prize is taken.
16) If an element of the prize consists of travel, an event, concert or other similar prize outlined above is, for any reason, cancelled, postponed, rescheduled or not available, that element of the prize will be considered as forfeited and no cash alternative offer will be awarded in lieu of the prize.
17) All prizes must be taken as offered. The prize, or any unused portion of the prize, is not transferable, exchangeable and cannot be redeemed as cash. The prize is not valid in conjunction with any other offer.
18) The prize is a single event trip for the winner and their companions and cannot be separated into separate trips or components. The winner and their companion must travel together. The five (5) flights for each route must be utilized at the same time, for the same travel dates, to and from the same destination. The air tickets are available on regular scheduled services of each airline and subject to seasonal embargos. Flight itinerary may have to be adjusted depending on the airlines departure city and their current flight schedule. All travel is subject to availability at all times. Winners and their prize companions are responsible for any amendment fees issued by airlines or suppliers once booking is confirmed and ticketed. Travel suppliers/airlines and booking time of flights to be chosen at Promoter’s discretion. Blackout periods may apply. Frequent flyer points are not available from any airline.
19) It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner may be requested to present their credit card or a cash deposit upon arrival at any accommodation to cover all incidentals they may incur during their stay.
20) It is the responsibility of the winner and their prize companions to ensure they are checked in for their flights, and arrive at the airport, on the correct date and at the time specified by the relevant airline carrier. The Promoter is not responsible for any costs associated with the winners and their prize companions missing any of their flights.
21) Unless specified otherwise, the winner (and their companions) are responsible for all expenses including, without limitation, transport to and from Departure point including but not limited to additional Domestic airfares if required, any additional meals, any extra sightseeing or activities, any additional costs.
