Competition Terms and Conditions1. General Information

(c) By entering any competition promoted by Midas Shoes you agree to these Terms and Conditions and any other applicable terms as advised by Midas Shoes. (d) For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, Midas Shoes includes its parents, related and subsidiary companies, past present and future officers, agents, representatives, and employees.
2. Entry Requirements & Eligibility
(a)
Entrants must be residents of Australia and aged 18 years or older. (b) The employees, agents and contractors or family members of Midas Shoes are not eligible to enter the Competition. (c)
The competition can be entered online via filling out this form http://join.fashion.com.au/landing/index/Win-Your-Favourite-Midas-Italian-Made-Sandals in its entirety until you land back on the Midas Shoes Website – http://www.midasshoes.com.au/made-in-italy/. (d) To enter, Eligible Entrants must enter a valid Email Address, Name, Postcode and let us know in 25 words or less what your favourite Made In Italy Summer Sandal is and why. The name of the shoe must be a shoe that is currently displayed on the website page http://www.midasshoes.com.au/made-in-italy/ for the entry to be considered eligible to win. A reason must be stated within the 25 words for it to be considered a valid entry. Incomplete or illegible entries will be deemed invalid. Any incorrect entrant details submitted may render the corresponding entry invalid. It is each entrant’s responsibility to inform Midas Shoes if their personal details change prior to the Winner Notification Date. (e) Midas Shoes reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and address) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these conditions of entry. (f) When giving us your email address you agree to be added to our Midas Shoes mailing list. This is in accordance with the ACMA Spam Act 2003 of which you are giving us your email address with inferred consent that you will be added to the Midas Shoes newsletter mailing list. We also abide by the Spam Act that ensures that you can unsubscribe at any time. (g) The winner will be decided on
Tuesday, October November 7 at 11am AEST. (h)
The winner will win one $250 online Midas Shoes voucher to be used to purchase a pair of Made in Italy sandals through the Midas Shoes online store. (i) Entries to this competition open on Thursday, 2nd October 2014 at 12pm (AEST)
and will close Thursday, 6th November 12pm (AEST) (j) Midas Shoes reserves the right to amend competition terms and conditions at any time. It is the responsibility of the entrant to ensure they are aware of the latest terms and conditions.
3. Judging
(a) This competition is a game of skill and the winner will be chosen based on the quality of the entry. (b) The prize winners will be notified by email address and/or phone. All reasonable efforts will be made to contact the prize winners. Midas Shoes will not be liable to the prize winner who cannot be contacted at the details provided in their entry. (c) If Midas Shoes is unable to contact the prize winner after reasonable efforts, Midas Shoes may assign the prize to the next best selected entry. Midas Shoes will give the original winner 24 hours to respond to the email so if contact has not been made by 5pm Friday 7th November another winner will be announced. (d) The decision of the judges is final and will not enter into correspondence or communication regarding the judges’ decisions.
4. Prizes
(a) The prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other discounts or special offers. (b) Midas Shoes will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for personal injury suffered or sustained, as a result of taking any prize under this competition. (c) Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash. Midas Shoes accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the prizes. (d) The total amount of the voucher (AU$250.00) must be redeemed by the expiry date – Monday, September 1st 2014. (e) Prize winners agree to participate in any promotional activity promoting Midas Shoes, prize sponsors and/or the competition at the reasonable request of Midas Shoes. This includes the announcement being broadcast via the Midas Shoes Facebook Page and/or our weekly newsletter. The page can be found at

(a) Midas Shoes may publish, adapt, communicate or otherwise use the entrants’ winning submission and/or prize winners’ names for advertising and publicity purposes in any media in perpetuity without needing to provide additional compensation.
6. Warranties
(a) Entrants warrant and represent to Midas Shoes that nothing in any entry to any competition infringes the rights, including copyright, of any third party and is not defamatory or obscene and does not breach any state or commonwealth law. (b) If Midas Shoes becomes aware that a prize winner is in breach of any warranty contained in these Terms and Conditions, Midas Shoes may deem that prize winner ineligible.
7. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are to be construed according to the competition laws of Western Australia, Northern Territory, South Australia, Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, and Tasmania Australia and are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of each state and territory.
