Just one week until Pride hits cinemas on October 30, but you can catch it first with advance preview screenings happening nationally this weekend (Friday/Sunday)! Check in with your local cinema for preview session times.

To celebrate the release of Pride, we’re also giving you the chance to win in-season movie tickets and limited edition Pride t-shirts. The t-shirt features the original artwork from 'Pits & Perverts', the largest single fundraising event held by Lesbians and Gays Support the Miners back in 1984. The title of the event was originally a newspaper headline designed to mock the partnership between the activists and the miners. But LGSM took the insult and turned it around, challenging the homophobia and anti-mineworkers stance of the government and press.

For another joyous snippet of Pride, we have a new clip for you this week showing the very beginning of what would become a lasting friendship between LGSM and the small Welsh mining community in the Dulais Valley. It’s also the clue to our competition; click to watch the clip then click below to enter. Good luck!
