Comedy powerhouses Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum return to wreak havoc within the undercover police force in 22 Jump Street.
Having survived high school – twice – big changes are in store for our undercover officers Schmidt (Hill) and Jenko (Tatum) when they infiltrate a local college, for a drug bust. Tasked with finding the head dealer of a spookily named new drug ‘Whyphy’, Schmidt and Jenko must pose as fresh-faced students again to get in with the right crowd.
The hilarious duo soon find themselves pulled in different directions – Jenko meeting a kindred spirt on the football team; Schmidt falling into the bohemian arts scene. As they make new buddies and explore new interests, the duo begins to question the future of their friendship. Not only do they have to crack the case and discover who the head dealer is, they’ve got to decide if their partnership has a future.
This laugh-a-minute action comedy features plenty of hilarious scenes and is definitely one for fans of the 21 Jump Street movie that preceded it, and even for puritan fans of the original TV series (once upon a time a little more serious in intent).
All formats include a whole bunch of extra features including extended and deleted scenes, and cool featurettes.
‘22 Jump Street’ is out on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital with UltraViolet from November 6 through Universal Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.
