Win $25million with the Melbourne Cup Pick 10

Bookmaker Tom Waterhouse have launched $25million Bet That Stops A Nation - and you can win a share of it by picking the first 10 home in the Melbourne Cup.

The competition is the biggest betting prize in the history of Australian bookmaking with a sensational prize up for grabs on the Race That Stops A Nation on November 4.

All you have to do is simply pick the Top 10 in order in the 2014 Melbourne Cup and you will win your share of $25million.

TomWaterhouse.com has $25million to divide up among anyone who can pick the Top 10 in this year’s Flemington showpiece in what is the Bet That Stops A Nation.

Each bet has an exact stake of $10, with every TomWaterhouse.com account holder permitted a maximum of 10 entries per account.

Entry is open now via this link right through to jumps time on the first Tuesday in November.

“This is the bet that stops a nation for the race that stops a nation,” CEO Tome Waterhouse said. “It’s an opportunity for one or more of my Melbourne Cup punters to become an instant multi-millionaire.”

To enter the competition, just follow these simple steps:

1. Go to TomWaterhouse & sign-in
2. Visit the Melbourne Cup Pick 10
3. Pick your first 10 in the Melbourne Cup (you can enter up to 10 times, each entry costs $10)

Terms and Conditions

1. Unless otherwise stated in these First Ten 2014 Melbourne Cup Betting Rules, The TomWaterhouse.com Rules (Rules) apply. Capitalised terms in the First Ten 2014 Melbourne Cup Betting Rules have the meaning given to them in the Rules.
2. A successful First Ten 2014 Melbourne Cup wager requires the Client to nominate the first 10 place-getters in correct finishing order of the 2014 Melbourne Cup as declared by Racing Victoria at the time of correct weight.
3. This bet-type will only be available for wagers on the 2014 Melbourne Cup that are placed by Clients via the Internet from 12.01.00 am AEST on Friday 3 October 2014 to 2.59.00 pm AEDT on 4 November 2014.
4. An exact stake in the amount of $10 per wager applies (this includes one combination of ten (10) horses).  A Client may make up to 10 separate wagers for this bet-type.
5. In the event of one or more of a Client’s selections being scratched or being declared a non -runner after a First Ten wager is placed, then in the event that the scratching or declaration is made:
a. before a final field is declared, the wager will be treated as an unsuccessful wager;
b. at or after the time a final field is declared, the wager will be refunded in full to the Client.
6. In the event that a Dead-Heat occurs for a win or a place:
a. the Dead-Heat Rule in Rule 63 will not apply; and
b. both horses will be deemed to have either won or placed respectively.  A successful wager will require the Client to have selected both of the horses involved in the dead heat for that win or place and the immediately following place, regardless of order.  For example, if horses 1 and 2 dead heat for 1st place, a successful wager will require the Client to have selected horses 1 and 2 in their top two finishing order of horses, regardless of the order.
7. The total maximum amount of winnings payable for all successful wagers (if any) is AUD $25,000,000 (twenty five million dollars).
8. Where there is one (1) successful wager, that successful wager will win AUD $25,000,000.  Where there is more than one (1) successful wager, the AUD $ 25,000,000 winnings will be divided equally among all successful wagers. We reserve the right to delay paying any winnings until we have received those funds from the bet type insurers.
9. In the event that less than twenty (20) horses start the race or less than ten (10) horses  finish the race, or if the race is not run on 4 November 2014 and is not rescheduled to be run within 48 hours of the original scheduled start time, then this bet type will be declared null and void and all wagers refunded.
10. The following categories of Clients are not eligible to place a wager on this bet type and any wagers placed by them will be declared void and refunded in full:
a. employees, or any immediate family members of employees, of Tom Waterhouse (NT) Pty Limited or William Hill Australia Pty Ltd or Australian registered related entities;
b. employees of professional advisers of Tom Waterhouse (NT) Pty Limited or William Hill Australia Pty Ltd, restricted to those employees who are involved in providing professional advice or services in relation to this bet type.
11. Residents of South Australia are not eligible to place a wager on this bet type.
12. For the avoidance of doubt, First Past the Post does not apply to First Ten 2014 Melbourne Cup wagers.
