INTRODUCTION
1. The following Terms and Conditions apply for the Lotterywest Grants Ben Folds Live with
WASO Facebook Competition. By submitting an entry into the Competition, entrants’
warrant that they have read and agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
2. These Terms and Conditions can be viewed on the Competitions page:

To enter the Competition entrants must submit their details entry via the link on the
Lotterywest Grants Facebook page and be drawn the winner.4. The Competition promoter (the “Promoter”) is the Lotteries Commission (ABN 78 531 150
466) trading as Lotterywest, 74 Walters Drive, Osborne Park WA 6017.
ELIGIBILITY
1. Entrants must reside in Western Australia (WA) and be aged eighteen (18) years or older,
in order to enter and be eligible to win.
2. The Competition commences at 12.00pm (WST) Wednesday 29 October 2014.
3. Entries must be received by 12.00pm (WST) on Tuesday 4 November 2014. Entries
received after this time (as determined by Lotterywest) will automatically be deemed as
invalid.
4. Employees of Lotterywest, and contractors and companies providing goods or services to
Lotterywest in connection with this Competition and their immediate families are all
ineligible to enter the Competition. Owners and staff of Lotterywest retail outlets and their
immediate families are all ineligible to enter the Competition. Immediate family includes
spouse, defacto spouse, parents (including any adoptive or foster parent), grandparents,
natural or adopted children and siblings.
PRIZE
1. The prize is a double pass to see Ben Folds Live with WASO at the Perth Concert Hall at
8.00pm on Friday 28 November 2014.
2. Winners should seek independent financial advice about any tax implications that may
arise from the prize winnings.
DRAW
1. The winner will be randomly selected on Tuesday 4 November at 74 Walters Drive,
Osborne Park. The winner will be deemed the first two names drawn.

2. The winner will be notified an email to the address provided.
PRIZE CLAIMS
1. The winner will have until 5.00pm on Friday 14 November 2014 to claim their prize. If the
prize is not claimed by this time, it will be forfeited.
2. To collect their prize, the winner will need to visit the Lotterywest Head Office at 74 Walters
Drive, Osborne Park 6017.
3. One form of photo identification must be shown in order for the winner to collect their prize
and to verify that the winner is over the age of eighteen (18) years old.
4. The prize must be taken as supplied (stated in Clause 10) and is not transferable.
5. Lotterywest reserves the right to use any forfeited prize for other promotions.
PUBLICITY MATERIALS
1. It is a condition of participating in the Competition that Lotterywest has the right to publicise
the names, characters, likenesses, voices or footage of any Entrants for any Promotion or
matter incidental to the Competition.
2. Lotterywest has the right to use such publicity materials in any medium (including, without
limitation, the internet) and in any reasonable manner it sees fit.
RELEASE AND INDEMNITY
1. Lotterywest, their advertising agencies, their affiliates, sponsors or representatives absolve
themselves of any and all liability, financial or resultant arising out of, or in connection with
any contest staged by Lotterywest.
2. To the extent permitted by law, all participants release from and indemnify Lotterywest and
its related bodies corporate, officers, employees and agents against all liability, cost, loss or
expense arising out of any involvement or participation in, or acceptance of, the Promotion
or the prize, either during or after the Competition, including (but not limited to) death, loss
of income, loss of opportunity, personal injury, illness and damage to property and whether
direct or consequential, foreseeable, due to some negligent act or omission (by or on the
part of Lotterywest or any of its staff) or otherwise.
3. Lotterywest accepts no responsibility for any accident, loss, injury or damage to any
individual or property arising out of or in conjunction with the Competition either during or
after the Competition.
4. Lotterywest takes no responsibility for the loss of prizes due to incorrect or imprecise
contact details provided by an entrant. Lotterywest is not responsible for lost, interrupted
communications or unavailable network server or other connections, failed telephone, midLotterywest

delivery or computer transmissions or other errors of any kind, whether human, mechanical
or electronic.
5. Lotterywest reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual for:
a) Tampering with the entry process, including exceeding any limitation on the numbers of
entries, or any other process as determined by Lotterywest that in any way affects the
fairness of the Competition;
b) Tampering with the operation of the Competition or website; or
c) Acting in violation of these Terms and Conditions.
DECISIONS FINAL
1. In all matters, all decisions of Lotterywest and staff will be final and cannot be contested.
No correspondence or discussions will be entered into.
2. Lotterywest may (subject to State Laws), vary the terms of conditions or terminate this
Competition at any time at its absolute discretion without liability to any participant or other
person.
FAILURE TO ENFORCE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. A failure by Lotterywest to enforce any one of these Terms and Conditions in any
instance(s) will not give rise to any claim or right of action by any other person or
Participant.
PERSONAL INFORMATION AND PRIVACY
1. The personal information supplied by Entrants when entering this Competition will be used
by Lotterywest in accordance with its Privacy Policy. Please refer to the Privacy Policy by
visiting the website for more information as involvement in this Competition is an
agreement to be bound by that policy.
